I always drive past this place and never had the time to go. Decided to try it today and the man up front is very nice but as soon as I sat down I heard the microwave. Veggies (lettuce) and rice were fresh, but the rest was just reheated. It'd have been nice to actually had fresh food prepared since I'm trying to cure a hangover, but it is what it is. Probably decent when the place is busy and they're actually cooking. But there's better options than microwave...
Sun's Teriyaki is hit or miss for me, but my husband loves it. The man who owns it is friendly, but I do have a hard time communicating which I assume is the reason my orders are rarely right. Kind of a dumpy, old decor.

I cannot see how this is ranked as 4 stars. On the positive side, the teriyaki was tasty, the portions are generous. On the room for improvement side, the "salad" was big sheets of iceberg lettuce. The sweet sour chicken, was a set of fried balls the size of an Italian meatball, that could not be broken apart by by a plastic knife or even stabbed with a chopstick. Fortunately I had just washed my EDC the night before. The sweet sour sauce was not the best I've ever...
