“Found out I am gluten intolerant this year and I have had to give up so many of my fav food and meals. I stopped in to Porters on my lunch and was thinking, “I’ll just eat some meat today” but when I told the Gal I was gluten free and couldn’t have a bun, she told me they now offer gluten free buns and she switched her knife and grabbed a new cutting board! I almost started crying!!!!! I know it’s a pain for you guys but being able to enjoy a hogzilla again was beyond words!!! I really appreciate it and will be a more frequent guest!! THANK YOU“

“The BEST in Tri-cities!!!! We had a family luncheon for a wedding. The bride and groom wanted pulled pork sandwiches. As mother of the bride, I’ll be honest and say that I hate pulled pork sandwiches. It became a mission to find the best pulled pork sandwich in Tri-cities. We went to 5 different locations. Swampy’s beat them all!!
The other locations had the typical crockpot, slow cooked, shredded, soggy, mushy, tasteless type of pulled pork sandwiches that can’t even be stomached without drenching it in bbq sauce and coleslaw.
Swampy’s version has so much flavor since they smoke it. You can see the smoke layers. It can stand alone without bbq sauce or coleslaw. It was tender without being mushy, juicy but not soggy.
We also enjoyed the brisket and mac&cheese!
Tory was great with customer service for catering. He even ordered gluten free sliders for us. We got to meet the owner, Ron, when we paid for the catering. It was great talking with him and hearing his amazing story of how he got started. Thank you Tory and Ron and the rest of the staff for the incredible food! All of our guests loved every bite!“
