The best food and atmosphere in the Tri Cities area by far. You want something romantic yet peaceful and relaxing this place is a must!!
Not well staffed and not very many options on the menu. The staff were very helpful.

Went on a Wednesday with no reservation so we did the outdoor seating. Our waiter was over tasked (might have been the only waiter) with tables inside and outside the restaurant so it took roughly 40-50minutes to get drinks. Saw another couple walk out because of slow service. The steak I had was barely warm, fed most of it to the stray cats I saw hanging outside. Didn't have a reservation so that might have altered my experience but I won't be returning..

Everything was real nice, except the price. No food worth what we paid. Other than that very excellent place to eat. Food was prepared very nice and attractive.

Walked in Friday night, at 8:15 pm, they were done seating for the night. We heard rum barrels were good, but not even an option to seat at the bar @ 8:15 pm on a Friday!

First I have to say, as promised, that after I warned them that I had read reviews saying their garlic mashed potatoes are often cold, they exceeded expectations in that regard and our food was delivered piping hot. We appreciated that. However, this poor little place is really trying to be a classy dining destination but is not achieving that. Really unfortunate, considering its beautiful location.
The atmosphere is lethargic. We only saw one other party there at 7:30pm with a free live music event drawing a crowd just down the street. The patio seating was absolutely devoid of any effort. No flowers or plants anywhere, and the glass wall around it is filthy. There were no tablecloths. They offered to wipe the debris from our table but never got around to it so we brushed it off ourselves, the best we could.
The salad bar was okay, and a nice activity to fill the time while awaiting entrees. The lettuce was fresh and uniformly cut, and the dressing was good. They could use more toppings.
The halibut was over-cooked and the lemon caper butter bland and in need of salt. The coconut prawns looked like they came from a bag of frozen but my husband liked them okay. The restaurant was out of their signature dessert - mud pie - which was what we went there for in the first place. They reported that their freezer broke and all the pie melted.
The under-dressed staff presented as casual in both attire and demeanor, with no uniform but inconsistent faded black T-shirts and black pants, and addressing us as ”you guys.” One interrupted our conversation to share her personal preferences about levels of heat regarding pepperoncini after noticing one on my plate. She also neglected to bring the bread until after we had already finished soup and salad. Hopefully some training will happen to improve staff presentation and professionalism.
We had high hopes for this place because of the location on the river, but we should have trusted the previous reviews. For now, I’d say skip it. I’d love to see improved reviews when we return next month because it is convenient to our preferred lodging.

I recently dined at Cedar’s and left with mixed feelings. While the atmosphere was quite pleasant and welcoming, the food and some aspects of the service left much to be desired.
I ordered the fish and chips and was very disappointed. The fish was soggy and tasted like it had come straight from a frozen package definitely not fresh, and far from the crispy, flaky texture you’d expect. The presentation was equally uninspired; the plate looked rushed and unappetizing, which only added to the overall letdown of the dish.
On the brighter side, our server Stephanie was an absolute delight. She was kind, attentive, and provided excellent customer service throughout our meal. However, I was shocked to witness another, older waitress rudely hand Stephanie a plate and tell her to “stop talking and move.” While I’ll admit we may have kept Stephanie a little longer than we should have, the way that interaction was handled was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. It was uncomfortable to witness and undermined the otherwise welcoming vibe of the place.
Overall, Cedar’s has potential, especially thanks to staff like Stephanie and its pleasant ambiance, but the kitchen and certain staff members could use serious improvement. I’d consider giving it another try but definitely not for the fish and chips.

Excellent salmon dinner! Service very attentive and the martinis were great.
Suuuuuuper slow service even with no customers here, food you can find other places that's better for cheaper, only thing that's got going for this place is where it's located

Ahimsa tuna was wonderful, a great place to meet for a celebration out with family and friends
Stoped taking tables at 8:24
I would love to give a better rating. Our server was really nice, friendly, and apologetic. The food was amazing My husband got a steak that was cooked to perfection. It came quickly. My Prime Rib Dip came about 15 minutes later. It was the best one that I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, I ordered onion rings and it came with fries. Our server was busy and the manager (I think) brought my order and when I told him I ordered onion rings, not fries, he said sorry, I will get them ordered. About 15 minutes later he showed up with my onion rings, they were okay, not great, very greasy. We did decide to have the mudslide pie, it was really good. I was surprised that the manager didn't come over to check on us and apologize for the fact that my husband was done eating and I was over half done before all of my order showed up. I don't blame our server, she had her hands full with two very large tables on the patio as well as a couple more in the bar. We did not have any drinks. Overall the food was excellent when it all came, (except for the onion rings, we didn't eat the fries that we got by mistake, we tried them, they weren't good) very nice server, manager not so good. We would go back and hope that the food all comes out at the same time and that the order is correct the first time. Everyone has an off day.
