I usually have a good experience but this time it was just bad. Guy taking my order was rude and the cheese on my grilled cheese was not melted. This is what $9 gets you I guess

Disappointed by the Decline at Great Harvest

I used to love coming to Great Harvest for their fresh ingredients, hearty sandwiches, and the friendly, welcoming service that always made the visit feel like a treat. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me both disappointed and frustrated.

I was genuinely excited to stop in, expecting the same quality and warmth I remembered. But right away, the atmosphere felt off. The staff, especially the young women behind the counter, seemed disinterested and unapproachable. When I asked a couple of simple questions about the sandwich options, I was met with short, clipped responses and worse, I overheard them making snide remarks and laughing about me afterward. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.

As for the sandwich itself, it didn’t live up to Great Harvest’s usual standards. The bread was fine, but the ingredients lacked the fresh, vibrant quality I used to count on. It felt more like something hastily thrown together than a carefully made meal.

It's disappointing to see such a great local spot lose the charm and care that once made it special. I hope this was just an off day, but sadly, I left feeling unwelcome and let down, something I never expected to say about Great Harvest.

A coworks brought us some goodies from GHB, Co and they all were really great. The fruit bars and the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are awesome. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great bakery! The pastries look rustic and taste homemade. 10/10

Great place for a quick lunch. Their breads are outstanding and the lunch options are great. Usually leave there with a full stomach and a loaf of bread for home. Highly recommend checking them out.

The Pepper Cheesesteak Panini was the best sandwich I’ve had in a while! (Not spicy at all) The service team members were quick to help and very kind. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great new lunch spot. And btw, the pepper cheesesteak panini isn’t that spicy

Great Harvest bread is good homemade bread. Recommend coming early to get your favorite breads. They make their batches of bread in the morning, and when they run out, you have to wait till the next day they make it. Some breads are only made on a specific day or seasonal. Always have great treats, and they make sandwiches with their bread. It's always a good place to stop and grab something special. Staff is always nice and helpful!

Fun and delicious! The staff is helpful and polite, the breads and sandwiches are our favorite, and we love the novelty products and dining area, which makes for a cool and comfortable date/small group lunch.

Extra praise for the rye bread—it’s my new favorite. Mild, soft, and authentic, you have got to try it!

Add chipotle sauce to the veggie sandwich for an extra punch of flavor!
