The chicken had no spice, the red beans and rice tastes more bbq than Cajun.

I used to love the Popeye's in California, so imagine how disappointed I was when I tried the Kennewick store. The chicken was pretty good, but very limited. Three items I wanted weren't available. I had the family meal and the forgot to add one of the three sides, which cost over $4.00. I asked for hot sauce and they gave 6 packets for 16 pieces of chicken, plus I got some attitude when I asked for more. My previous experience at the Kennewick store was with dried out chicken strips and a 15 minute wait to place my order with only one guy ahead of me. All in all, I don't think I'll be going back.
****update****
It has been about 2 years since I initially wrote a review here and I'm sorry to say things have gotten worse. This time I was behind two people ordering and my order was taken within about 5 minutes or so. Unfortunately it took right about 45 minutes to get my food. They were busy (sort of), but that wasn't the issue. After waiting about 30 minutes, and observing multiple customers who ordered long after me get their food I asked the cashier about mine. Turned out they totally dropped the ball. My order hadn't even been started. After another 15 or so minutes it finally came. I did double check the food but didn't notice the missing biscuit. When I got home the chicken was so steamed up that the breading started falling off, and was soggy.
Guess I'll try again in another few years. Maybe they'll get a new owner, or at least a manager that cares about the company.

Completely left out our “large” fry to make up for lack of Mac and cheese they had after spending $50 on dinner got home to see a small fry and two tiny sides of Mac and cheese. Complete joke. No butter or honey for the biscuits either. Make sure you check your bags before you leave. Worse than mcds 😆

Should not have come here knowing it has a 2.8 star, but took the chance. Bad bad decision…we ordered 4 sandwiches, 2 order of wings with no sauce, 1 fries. Barely any people in the restaurant. It took 35 minutes for them to get the food out! And, sandwiches are good, wings are in whatever wrong sauce, and the fries are not in the bag! Because it took too long, we had to take the bag leave in a hurry, didn’t check if everything was in there…we still like Popeyes food, but I don’t see myself returning to this location ever.

Slowest "fast food" ever. Not worth the wait.

Seems like every time I go here they are always out of something. I had to wait for them to make more chicken, then when I got my order it was chicken, not chicken tenders. KFC has much better chicken. However, when I actually get what I order (chicken tenders) they are great. The employees seem to act like you are putting them out by ordering. Not friendly at all.

Bathrooms were not clean, service was off, in general popeyes has delicious food but service needs to be much better. Ran out of supplies, forgot items, no sauce and in general price is way too high. Not covid anymore we can do better. I'm still going back to Popeyes because I love the gravy and chicken strips.

Great food. Service leaves a little to be desired. Last two times I've went. They got my order wrong, and they weren't really that busy

Really good hot mac n cheese & coleslaw It was around 7:30 pm & were the only ones there The rack behind the counter was full of food No heat lamps to keep it warm
The man at the counter was really nice & friendly Even said hope you enjoy your dinner as he left to head home
The dining room was a mess & we had to wipe down the table before eating Unfortunately had to use the dirty restroom So glad I had hand sanitizer & wipes with us

Food was good, no issue there. The older lady at the counter was very sweet and happy to talk to. The manager and the rest of the kitchen staff were yelling and arguing with each other the entire time we were in the restaurant. No only is it unprofessional and annoying, it killed the whole vibe of sitting in the restaurant.

The two people I saw working were busting their tails to fill orders. They were up front for a wait on chicken but it is always worth the wait. The sides hit the spot , mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, and Mac and cheese. We have replaced KFC with Popeyes when the family wants fried chicken and not looking back.

Truck won’t fit in the drive through and can’t make a to-go order in the lobby 15 minutes before the lobby closes. The staff was really unprofessional about the fact they close the lobby in 15 minutes and they can’t take any more orders.
