Let me start by saying I don’t usually write reviews, but our experience at Porter’s Real Barbecue was so exceptional I felt like I had to share it. From the second we walked in, the hospitality was unmatched. Lexi greeted us with a smile and went out of her way to make sure we felt comfortable and informed. She took the time to explain how everything worked, walked us through the menu, and gave us some great recommendations especially helpful since it was our first time there. Her friendliness and knowledge really set the tone for the entire visit. When it came time to pay, Morgan helped us at the counter and was so friendly, and sweet with our kids. She even gave them some glow in the dark sea creatures, and they were absolutely thrilled. You can tell the team here truly enjoys what they do and it shows. As for the food? Unreal. The brisket was the star of the show insanely tender, juicy, and packed with that deep, smoky flavor that true BBQ lovers crave. It practically fell apart with every bite. But hands down, my personal favorite? The jalapeño poppers. Perfectly crispy bacon on the outside, rich, creamy, and just the right kick of heat inside. I could’ve eaten a whole tray of them! Lexi came out and cleared our family’s trays and personally asked how everything was tasting. That small, genuine gesture showed just how much they care about their customers experience. That kind of thoughtful touch is rare these days, and it made a big impression. All around, Porter’s delivered an experience that went way beyond the typical BBQ joint. Incredible food, standout service, and a welcoming vibe that made us feel like more than just customers. Huge thanks to Lexi and Morgan we’ll definitely be back, and this time we’re bringing friends! 🤌

I've never been to a BBQ place before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Was staying at a nearby hotel and this was close by for dinner. I'm not a big red meat fan so I got the 1/3# of turkey. It was amazing - more moist than the average Thanksgiving Turkey which was a pleasant surprise.
My friend got sausage and burnt ends and said they were very good. The mac & cheese was good as well. When I first got my tray I thought there was no way I was going to eat all this food, but it was so good that there was no need for a 'to-go' bag. The sauces were very good too!
This is not a place to sit and visit. You get your food and eat it, then get on your way.

A little sad they had no mac & cheese however I completely understand supply issues. My wife and I were helped by Morgan and Lexi. And they did their very best to accommodate and find a side my wife and I would enjoy, almost a blessing they were out of mac & cheese because I had never had the brisket chili before and thats my new favorite! Outstanding customer service as always.

If you're on the hunt for some comforting deliciousness, look no further than the mac and cheese at Porters Real Barbecue in Kennewick! I recently indulged in this creamy delight, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer.
The culinary wizardry behind this dish is nothing short of spectacular. Each bite is a warm hug, bringing all the cheesy goodness one could ever dream of.
But that’s not all! The real cherry on top was the service from Lexi. Seriously, she was as lovely as a sunny day! With a smile that could light up the room, she was super helpful and made the experience even more delightful.
So if you find yourself in the area, don't miss out on the mac and cheese – and make sure to say hi to Lexi while you’re at it!
Lexi definitely makes you feel welcome. She explained everything in detail about the all the options we had, she even gave us a few samples to try. By far the best brisket in town! My family and I will be back.

Brisket and pulled pork were okay.
Price is unreasonable. Higher than the quality of food.
Absurd to charge for a little coleslaw and extra pickles. The best part of the meal was the molasses bar.

Omg I was craving ribs and brisket. Went to this place for the first time with my friend visiting from Florida. The food was cold gave us stomach ache and diarrhea. I will never go back!

I am not impressed with porters anymore. The food is ok not the best, the meat is cold, the floors and tables are dirty, and the silverware is uncovered and exposed to germs and everything else. The soda machine only had two flavors that worked and multiple flavors that didn't work or had bugs or debris floating in it once dispensed into cup. My family and I used to go there all the time cause the food was always good but now we will never go back because things are just very unsanitary and the food was cold and not fresh. Regardless of the service being good, it doesn't make up for the food being cold and an unsanitary environment.

In terms of customer we felt we were rushed, at the time no one was even behind us. We got there a little After they opened some what expecting to get Fresh food. We both got the hogzilla, paid for 3 jalapeño poppers but got 2, and the Mac and cheese. The sandwhich had a piece of cartilage in almost every bite, not just small pieces. The jalapeño poppers were very soggy, and tasted old. The Mac and cheese had no flavor, and tasted like it had been warmed up multiple times. One of the worst “bbq” experiences I’ve ever had.
