Rise & Shine Bake Shop

After following them for quite a while on Facebook, my husband and I took our youngest daughter there today to celebrate the end of her senior year of high school! First, let me say how adorable the shop is! Smiling faces, and friendly staff everywhere! Between the three of us, we had the tomato soup, a turkey sandwich, the ham and cheese zombie and the pulled pork zombie. We also celebrated with a slice of the raspberry pie bar and the lemon blueberry cheesecake. We also took a Nutella cookie home 💙 Everything was delicious, those zombie buns were some of the best buns I’ve ever had 😏 we look forward to coming back again very soon!

Tried for the first time yesterday, they were super busy and still did great with greeting us, taking our order and the wait wasn’t bad at all, the food was so good, my daughter is only 2 and literally KILLED her bowl of turkey gravy and mashed potatoes lol I came for the strawberry cheesecake rolls and they did not disappoint. & everyone was so sweet, they brought our food to our table and everything even though it was a to-go order. Love love love it here and we will be back. 🥰

I can’t say enough good things about Rise & Shine. It’s a small bakery and extensive coffee bar in historic downtown Kennewick - the best cheesecake I’ve ever eaten, light and fluffy like it’s homemade but rich and flavorful the way a high end restaurant would do it. In addition, Italian sodas, cookies with amazing flavors like German chocolate cake, and a unique type of sandwich dubbed a zombie - a delicious made-from-scratch roll, filled with cheese or meat. She runs out of them daily. The owner, Annelee, is a lifelong tri cities resident & treats everyone like they’re family; I make a point to go with enough time to stick around for a half hour to just learn more about the town from her and her great staff. Easily the best dessert shop I’ve ever been to, consistently mindblowing, make it a must-visit on your next free Saturday.

Came in close to closing for Some sweet treats. The Blackberry Line Cheesecake and the Peanut butter Sandwich cookies were SOOOOO delicious. I could eat a million of those PB sandwiches 😂🥴🤗I'm sure the Butterfinger and CC cookies will be just as delicious. Thank you again gals. 🙏

I came in to have lunch with my boyfriend. The tomato basil soup and cheese zombies were delicious. I had some cookies too. Everything here is fresh and tastes homemade. Thank you for your hard work. I want to come back again.

I love Rise and Shine! Everything is made in house from scratch, and you can taste the difference. It's one of my favorite spots for energy drinks (the Berry Blush is great!) and coffees. The classic Korean buns are hands down one of the best things I've ever gotten from a bakery. They're the perfect combination of savory butter and herbs with the sweetened creme cheese filling. The staff is always friendly and comes up with fun new things to try all the time. They're a great addition to downtown Kennewick!

I had a pretty disappointing experience this morning.
I visited Rise & Shine Bake Shop for a coffee and treat this morning, the cashier was nice and I think maybe still in training. I ordered a 16 ounce hot white chocolate mocha & a pastry. While ringing me up the cashier asked the barista if a 16oz was a small in hot- the barista said no, a small is 12oz. I confirmed to both of them I wanted 16oz. The cashier rang me up. I went to the bar to pick up my drink- it had cute latte art and I noticed it looked small- I asked the barista if it was 16oz, she said "No a 16oz is a medium". I said alright well I ordered in terms of 16oz not a small, medium or large. the Barista was visibly upset, said something like next time you need to pay more- took the drink back and remade it. The coffee it self was just alright- the shots were burnt. I did not taste the first coffee. I was excited to go in because I had heard people really like it. :(

Went for the first time yesterday and ended up making two separate purchases because after I’d already checked out I saw more goodies I had to try! Each product is HUGE (I took each bar and cut them into six pieces for a gathering, so more people could taste), the owners are so nice and welcoming, and the vibes are so cute. And, to top it off everything was delicious! Will be coming back whenever I’m in the area.

Such a cute shop and the biscotti cheese cake and applie pie bar were literally amazing!

Omg, so addicting! I’m a college student at Heritage University and I decided to walk over for lunch (literally around the corner) and try for the first time. The shop was so cute and a great atmosphere for my first impression. Lots of selection, but I decided to try the classic Korean bun and a rise and shine energy drink. I took my first bite of the bun and my eyes literally rolled back with how good it was. Sweet and savory at the same time. The taste was so addicting, I already want to get another one lol. I’m definitely coming back to try their other flavors and they have soups/sandwiches, bakery items, energy/coffee as well! I highly recommend for other college students like me, looks like a good place to relax and do some homework and studying.

I got a recommendation to come try a coffee from Rise and Shine and while getting a coffee I also got a desert and it was sooo good. Like I would have totally ate the cheesecake off the floor 🤣 so I told myself I needed to come back and try something other then sweets and coffee and when I went back I got a sandwich and grabbed another desert because why not! Every single item I have tasted is amazing. So good. Cooked perfectly. Everything is homemade and the staff is amazing as well. The atmosphere is great. Really relaxing and comfortable to be at. There are games too if you wanted to get lunch and play some board games with friends! I recommend all of it! I’ll add pictures if it will allow me too!
