Stopped here for the first time and it is going to be my new go to Mexican food restaurant when I am traveling through town. The Birria is INCREDIBLE. Flavorful, juicy and clearly made with love. Also, the Adobada Burrito is craveworthy. If you don't know about this place, you better find out. Can't wait to go back!

Don't let the appearance of this place discourage you, the sweet owner is a hard working and humble woman that really takes pride in her food. I had the enchiladas that came topped with cheese, lettuce, sour cream, tomato and jalapeño slices, a grilled chicken breast and a dash of oregano just like my mom makes them. I should also add that the tortillas for the enchiladas are hand made. My fiancé ordered an Azada Chavindeca, and taco de tripa. Both were made with handmade tortillas, and were perfectly cooked. I felt like I was eating at a cenaduria (diner) in Coalcoman. I'm so happy we found this taqueria on Yelp as we were driving through. My family is from Coalcoman which is a small town in Michoacán, Mexico so we had to stop and glad we did.

The food is good! Cold but good! My son asked If they would make his Steak burrito enchilada style & they refused! Not sure how hard it is to poor A little bit of enchilada sauce on a burrito ? but wow! A wet burrito ? ? ? is awesome & they should entertain that when asked for a $1 extra. I would go back if we ever came through again.

My wife and I come here for the "authentic" Mexican food that is not usually found in the mainstream local Mexican restaurants. We get exactly what we see on the wall menu; and it's consistently delicious and that is why we come here as often as we do.

Great stop midway from Spokane to Portland. The restaurant is attached to a gas station/mini-mart. Very nice staff and fast service despite being relatively busy. Tried the quesabirria on the server's recommendation. We also got an assortment of sopas. Was served house made beef broth before entrees arrived (what a nice surprise). All were packed with authentic flavors and super tasty. I could drink the red salsa, it was the perfect punch of chili flavor. They need to bottle that sauce and sell it. We will definitely be back!Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.
Amazing hole in the wall taqueria with authentic tacos right along the main route between Portland and Spokane. Quick and easy in and out right next to the last mandatory gas fill up. Perfect pit stop when traveling through. Just beware of the salsa rojo.

The staff at Tacqueria Coalcoman were amazingly helpful. The food dishes that they recommended were absolutely amazing. The restaurant is in what looks like and old 50’s diner setting. I went alone, but this is definitely a place to go back to with the whole family.
