Very very limited mask wearing, by both the employees (below their nose) and customers. Either this store has an extremely high number of unhealthy customers (compared to other grocery stores in Walla Walla, where mask wearing runs about 99%) or the management is clueless. No, careless. Makes you wonder if this attitude extends to food preparation areas.

Red headed woman from the bakery was nasty. Very rude, spat when she talked. Kept spitting, while talking, in all the cookies. She looked homeless and really out of place.
Everyone is always so friendly, helpful and they remember your name. For a chain store it has such a down home, mom and pop feel about it.

At night, the police cruise the parking lot with a spotlight and search people's cars/approach patrons. It's both worrisome to see on such a regular occurrence (because it makes me worry for my safety if the area is so dangerous to warrant the patrols), and also a potential hassle if I take my minivan instead of a car (I've been told that vans are suspicious if they stay "too long" - and I don't want to risk it). I shop all the way in Poulsbo if I have to buy something at night.

Every time I go to this pharmacy, there's an issue. Prescriptions that were called in didn't get filled because "we pretty much never check our voicemail," spent an extra 45 minutes waiting for a prescription that I was told would be filled by a certain time, the person on the phone not knowing to tell me that they needed additional information, three employees working together that still were not able to figure out the procedure for the pharmacy promotional gift card, ... and more. The staff are friendly (most of them, anyway) but they're not very well trained. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
