Met a friend coming off the ferry, first time here, the staff was friendly and attentive, the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was awesome, we liked then so much, we ordered another. We also ordered two entrees, fish 'n chips, and shrimp basket. Was a quiet place until Monday trivia night started about 6pm.
Came here for lunch with some family. The location is very convenient if you're walking on the ferry. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was very good, and they always came by to pick up plates or refill drinks. I had the fish and chips which was great. A family member got a salad that looked amazing and I'll get next time we're in town.

They had just opened so maybe the waitress was busy - so no one really checked on us or even said goodbye when we left. So weird. Food was okay.

While waiting for the ferry, we were excited to see the Filling Station had a French Dip on their menu. We arrive with only a single table eating in the restaurant and we ordered immediately. An hour later we asked the bartender if we can just get our food to go instead since our 2 sandwiches had not been served yet.. the restaurant filled with about 5 other tables within that hour and 2 of the tables both received their food already and were checking out. The bartender kinda said sorry for the wait and offered to give us 20% off. We ran off to get to our ferry and opened the sandwiches. They were incorrectly made, horribly dry and cold (including dip) and the worst part was the “discount” they gave us was only toward the sandwiches which was enough to cover the mushrooms (of which we didn’t even order in the first place). Suffered eating half the stale sandwich, threw the other half away, and for the first time in my life am writing a gogogle review because they still charged me $50. Rough, Filling Station, rough.

Amazing chicken strips and tater tots. Ya know that one tater tot in the bunch that's better than the rest? It's crispier and darker than the rest, but not just a hollow shell. That was ever single one of the tater tots in my chicken strips and tots basket. They give you a pile of tots, too!As a piece that I just happened to wander in to, I'd definitely go again!
