I'm giving this 2 stars because people have said it's good. But, when are they open? Today was our 4th time trying to go to this place. Although their posted hours read open, again today it was dark and closed when we got there. Same thing as last Thursday. Also on 2 previous occasions.

Someone give this business an award for customer service. Seriously. Stopped in for a quick snack while waiting for the ferry and I can't emphasize the lasting impression this place had on me. You can don your hotdog and ice cream (or frozen banana) with anything under the sun and they will do it with a lovely smile on their faces. I really love the couple who operates this place and I hope they do this for a long time. I will also say they had hand sanitizer dispenser and they utilized gloves to fulfill your order (can't be too safe during the pandemic). Till next time, hot dogs at the cove... I'll be thinking about all the crazy toppings I'll request on my hotdog and ice cream!

jeannie is the SWEETEST lady!! everytime i go there she makes sure that my experience is the best it could possibly be. i get the veggie dogs and they are out of this world! it would totally be worth checking out

Amazing service and excellent ice cream & frozen bananas. The lady working was so courteous and kind; she let us pick multiple toppings and gave us complimentary water bottles. This place is awesome!!!

Stopped in here after we honestly came to buy ice cream from another business. We were disappointed to find said ice cream place closed but were directed to try this hand dipped ice cream by a local standing on the street corner.Not wanting to leave without ice cream in hand, we checked out the shop. They sell hot dogs, small gifts and ice cream. The owners were so kind and accommodating to me and my three kids. They were eager to serve us and make us aware of all they had to offer. They have hand dipped vanilla ice cream bars with several toppings and drizzle choices. They even gave us complimentary bottles of water. My kids were so pleased.We sat outside to eat and the owner even came and took our garbage from us when we were done. She went above and beyond.It was so nice to be served and treated so well. I root for small businesses like this one. Definitely check this spot out if you are passing through Kingston.

The BEST vegetarian Hot Dogs! Totally worth every penny. And the owners provided us with bottles of free cold water, as it was a Hot day! Highly recommend this anytime you are waiting on the Kingston ferry!

The vegetarian hot dogs were delicious. The one hour wait time for the ferry was worth it because of hot dogs we had here. On top of it- the owners offered us free water on hot summer day... Thank you going above and beyond and for caring your customers

Wow!! Go here! No question... seriously impressed with not only the chocolate covered banana covered in butterfinger crumbles and drizzled with peanut butter but the service was what sealed the deal. Warmest and most genuine lady helped us. I can't even remember the last time I had service so welcoming! We'll be back.
Amazing hotdogs, but the real show stoppers are the chocolate dipped frozen bananas!!! Not only is the food phenomenal, the owner could not be any sweeter!! A must try!

Can't beat a $4 frozen banana dipped in delicious chocolate with a load of toppings! Much better (and better price) than Mora ice cream next door. The owner even gave us a free bottled water. Very kind and friendly service. I plan on visiting again soon.
