Mossback is open again in this period that is post-vaccination but still within the pandemic fueled by the delta variant. It is open on Friday and Saturday evenings with well spaced outdoor seating and limited indoor dining. It is offering a four course meal with an amuse buche for $75. You select your appetizer, main, and dessert from several selections at each course. The food is delicious, well prepared and presented. The portions are right-sized and the meal is slowly but evenly paced over about two and a half hours. It is a relaxing meal that encourages conversation and taste sharing. There are wines by the glass or bottle or you can select a wine pairing for each course. Either way is a good value. We were about three weeks out for a reservation and it was well worth the wait. It is easy to make a reservation on their web site. It is a quick walk from the ferry dock to their house on Ohio Avenue. We were able to access our outdoor table without walking through the indoor restaurant.

Superb food, cocktails and a Caribbean small island vibe. Attentive staff, eclectic background music, just a wonderful experience. We’ll keep coming back!

One gripe is that Google maps and yelp mark this place as 2 $ signs for the price. Do not be fooled, this is a 5 course meal and dinner is $$$$! I walked in expecting a casual meal and was bamboozled, hoodwinked, led astray, run amuck, and flat out decieved! Just kidding, but I was caught off guard! Ended spliting the bill with my date and lost major cool points lollllllComing to this place was like getting lost and walking into a fairytale. The setting feels like you are in secret magic house. I barely understood anything on the menu and probably too uncultured to appreciate the art and creativity that went into the food. But the food looks super pretty and was def a unique meal!!

What can I say about Mossback that hasn't already been said about the pyramids? Timeless, beautiful, wonder of the world.Mossback is a culinary shrine to the Pacific Northwest.

Best focaccia bread ever. Service was slow, however, and dishes were just ok. You can tell they use fresh ingredients though!

Maybe the best meal we’ve had in the Seattle area. Incredibly fresh and delicious, but unpretentious. Wonderful craftsman house and gardens, with a quirky twist. The focaccia was unbelievable. Go!!

Great food. Wonderful original creations that are different from your average fare and incredibly tasty.

Just ate here last Saturday, everything was amazing! We couldn't stop talking about the cocktails and the meal, not to mention the fresh oysters. Such a fun adventure coming from Edmonds and taking the ferry over. Already booked to come back, this time with my folks, in June. We'll likely be back for a visit even before then with how amazing our last meal was! Been there several times, and have never been disappointed.

Had an absolutely amazing experience here--everything from start to finish was completely spot-on. They serve really unique, fresh food that is uniquely PNW. I also recommend the cocktail pairing option with your meal, the flavors complement so nicely!
