Sourdough Willy's Pizzeria in Washington is known for serving the best pizza in town, especially the Roman Impala New Yorker. The restaurant can be very busy and loud on weekends, but the food remains great, and the service is excellent, with friendly staff. Customers appreciate the unique pizzas made with a hundred-year-old sourdough starter and fresh, creative toppings that create an exceptional dining experience. The pizzeria offers a memorable meal with a view of the ferries in the picturesque town of Kingston, making it a must-visit for pizza lovers. The Detroit spicy Hawaiian has gained acclaim for its perfect crust, abundant cheese, and toppings. Additionally, the pesto and truffle Detroit style pizzas have been highlighted as favorites. Customers also enjoy the balanced pizza sauce, which is less acidic than many others. While parking can be challenging due to its location near the ferry, and there is only one bathroom for everyone, the friendly service and delicious food, including the pear arugula salad and pastas like Smokey mac & vodka rigatoni, make it worth the trip. Sourdough Willy's is truly a pizza spot that draws visitors from far and wide.
