Sourdough Willy's Pizzeria

My second time doing to Willy’s and it’s a 5 star pizza place. I ordered right when they opened. The wait time was 45 min. I went up at about 35 min and saw 2 pizzas sitting in the pickup area. Turned out they were mine and it was done early. Would have been nice to know that rather than let them sit there. As for the pizza it’s awesome. Today I had a NY style cup & char (pepperoni pizza) and it’s so good. I also tried a new crust today the Detroit style crust with pepperoni, sausage and hot honey. It was super good. Super thick crust with cheese and all the toppings. What i didn’t know was Detroit was sauce on the top! Oh what a surprise but oh so good!! I’d definitely get it again!

Delicious pizza crust. No dairy free cheese. Pizza was good, a solid 4 stars. If diary free cheese I'd have gone with 5 stars.

I am SHOCKED this doesn’t have 4.6+ stars!!! Sourdough Willy’s is my saving grace since moving here from Chicago & Wisconsin so I know my pizza and my cheese!!!! The pesto and truffle Detroit style pizzas are some of my favorite pizzas on this planet. Justice for sourdough Willy’s!

This is THE pizza spot. Ill be hopping on the ferry regularly just to get this pizza. I dont usually ikea pizza sauce but the suace they make here has a delicate and balanced flavor. Most pizzas have too much acidic taste but not their pizza. And the server who helped us was so nice and helpful. Also a 4.3??? No way this is a 5 star spot.

The only 2 bad things I can say about this place is there is only 1 bathroom for everyone, Staff included. Second they had 3 cocktails on the menu that wasnt around anymore. The rest was amazing I drove 1.5 hours to eat pizza! So delicious and I would definitely drive back.

Over rated we had pasta, sandwich, and pizza. Nothing was what many rate this place. Nothing Italian about this place. Italians will be ashamed. No flavor just slap of grind tomatoes. Pasta over cooked. Nothing was worth taking home. The food was to sloppy, over cooked pasta who does that! and crust to burned up. Restrooms extermly dirty.

Absolutely amazing!!!! Drove from seabeck to Kingston just to try this place... this is going to be our new go to restraint for a night out!!!

Delicious pizza. I ordered early and went in to pick up. 5min wait to pick up pizza even though it was ready. There just wasn't an employee on the pick up side to ask for the pizza, but it was really busy.

2 diners ordered pizza after happy hour peak. Unhelpful rules prevented ordering pizza toppings by choice. Some ingredients could be deleted, but none could be added or substituted. No individual pizza for 1 person. Each diner had to order a full pizza that served 2 to 4. No exceptions. 1 pizza arrived within a reasonable time; the other was not provided. The server was mostly MIA. He finally approached the table and revealed that the other pizza had been burned & was being re-made. Another long delay. When the missing pizza finally was brought to the table, the diner who ordered it tried one slice, and refused the rest. Maybe it was a worst case scenario for the house, but the diners' experience was not acceptable. We won't go there again.

Really good, almost no complaints. The pizza and appetizer we got were very good and arrived quickly. We sat at the bar which was next to the giant decorative pizza oven. Now for my nitpicks. There's one bathroom for one person. I would like a bit more explanation on the types of pizza on the menu, there's like 5 different base pizzas which is good but can be overwhelming the first time you go. There was an unusual amount of flies in the restaurant that day. But those are all small complaints. The location is right in downtown next to the ferry so easy to find and surrounded by other businesses which meant we were able to get ice cream across the street after our meal and walk around the waterfront park. My wife felt the pizza sauce was too sweet but I disagree. No idea if we'll go again but only cause it's like 30 minutes from us but if I'm in Kingston again I wouldn't hesitate to return. And you should definitely check it out if you want good pizza and frankly some insane garlic cheese dip served with some of the best sourdough bread I've ever had. It's honestly a gem of a place, I kinda feel bad for ranking it 4 stars.

We ordered 2 pizza's, the first one was a long wait and then we finished that and were waiting and waiting, thinking they forgot to put the 2nd one in, way too long to wait. Flies, dead fly on the window sill, while eating we had to brush them away from us in order to eat the pizza. Wine...no wine list, no price list, just some names of unknown wines, not sure how you know what to order. Extremely disappointing. too bad there is no cleanliness star, that would be a minus 5. The bathroom was filthy! flies all over, tp on the floor, over loaded waste basket. no circulation in the bath or the restaurant. Will not go back again, this was my 2nd time and my last.
