We were looking for something quick to grab before the ferry and The Saucy Sailor delivered! The coconut curry was fabulous and the cottage pie was delish! 10/10 would recommend!

This place is awesome. Friendly service, awesome tasting food, good atmosphere. For there curry lovers it is spot on along with the rest of their menu. He will give you a sample to see if you like it before you buy it. I highly recommend this place.

What an awesome experience we had here! As we walked and read the menu, we were offered a sample. I think that's such a great idea because as soon we tried the food we were sold. It was so delicious! And very reasonably priced. Pete, the owner, was gregarious and friendly and a joy to chat with. I wish we lived closer, but anytime I'm in the area, we'll be back!

Friendly service that gave us free samples. Food was delicious. They also use compostable containers and silverware. ?. No more plastic!

I called and ordered 4 plates of food. When I got there 5 minutes later, all the food was ready. We took it home and enjoyed our food tremendously. I am excited to try a different meal next time, and there will be a next time!

Parking: There is shared parking behind the business. Street parking on the other side of the street is usually very difficult to find.

We love the Saucy Sailor! Great home-cooked “fast” food (perfect while you are waiting for the ferry) and take-home freezer meals that are a staple in our house when we don’t feel like cooking but want quality healthful food at a reasonable price. And, on top of that, the owners and workers are wonderful people! I can’t recommend this place more!

Saw the “gourmet food” & “served in seconds” hopped out of our car in the ferry line and received a delicious hot dinner for the fam. They even have multiple GF & DF options. Good portion size too. Each meal was the main entree, salad (slaw) and a bread.
