Last weekend we got married and our venue host had highly recommended the Saucy Sailor, after having them the night before at a wedding. What a fun place to walk up to near the Kingston Ferry and Marina - The Saucy Sailor is an authentic gourmet British Take-Away with a great selection of food like Cottage Pie, Bangers and Mash, Thai Curry, Pork BBQ, and a 99 Flake for dessert! They even offer free samples when you stop to look at the menu. Great service and there was no wait - served in seconds once you choose.

This is the best restaurant in Washington. I'm originally from the East Coast, moved here 5 years ago from NYC. I've been to some amazing restaurants all over the US and Europe and this place is in my top 5. Worth the ferry ride. Owner is super nice, great to chat with, and the food is unbelievably good.
