My groups experience at Huntington’s Steakhouse in Klickitat, Wa was the absolute worst! I have been to this establishment twice and the first time was great, the steaks were delicious. Fast forward to two nights ago.. not one person in our party had a good steak. Myself and one other person in our group determined that something was just plain wrong with ours. I had about two bites of it and then asked for to-go container. Once I got it home I opened my container and instantly could see my steak was absolute mush, no consistency and had a smell that would make you gag. It did not resemble meat. I think the photos speaks for itself. My husband and our friend went to the restaurant the very next day to request a refund for two of the meals. They took my steak and our friends, when he took them into the restaurant The owner refused to make eye contact or acknowledge the problem, the waitress carried it away at arms length while gagging from the smell. The waitress offered us to come back for drinks on them. That was their offer… we had spent over 400.00 that night, a refund for part of our meal would have been acceptable but they refused. Why would we want to go back.. really!!! Eat at your own risk!!

2 of our steaks were rancid not even close to edible. I only took 1 bite and knew something was very wrong. I took it home to see if it was just raw but it’s rancid like eating pure lard. It was paste. This is what we discovered when we got home. Please see photo
A few of us went back to the restaurant the next night to show the staff and owner and we’re basically dismissed and offered a gift certificate.

Honestly the best steak in the Gorge by a large margin. The owner says he makes them like he likes to eat them, and I believe it! Bring your own bottle or wine to take it up a notch and enjoy the ribeye!

Dinner was fantastic. Had many different cuts of steak to choose from. We settled on the ribeye dinner with loaded baked potato and broccoli topped with cheese. And the second choice was the pork loin dinner with the same sides. I ordered a side house salad with blue cheese and that also was amazing. My only complaint would be when ordering the pork i was thinking a pork chop but the menu clearly stated loin so that was my own fault. Service was warm and welcoming and when in the area again we will certainly eat here again. Over all great experience.

Great steaks. Had a t-bone and the lady had a ribeye. Both were perfectly medium rare. Not something you see every day.The service was excellent. The beer was cold.

If you find yourself in the beautiful hwy 142 river valley corridor stop into this unassuming bar and grill. It doesn't look like much from the street but the staff is wonderful and the steaks outstanding. Don't forget the cheesecake for dessert if you have room. My T-bone steak was so big I almost couldn't finish it. Hard to find places like this anymore but really nice when you do.

Miss Gretchen was awesome.The porterhouse steak/potato/veggie plates didn't reach the $45-level of outstanding that they did 20 years ago.Remember that it is a bar first, a restaurant along with. It is not a place for kids.
Kid-friendliness: No minors allowed, but they can wait outside...

Excellent! So glad to have a nice restaurant in Klickitat! The one-man operation was well run, clean, friendly and quick! The portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced. The quality is great and the menu is classic American food. Will return!
