The serene waterfront setting makes this spot incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Whether you’re sitting inside or outside, you’ll get a clear view of the water, which adds a calming and scenic charm to your wine tasting.
They offer a great variety of wines, especially impressive international selections. We tried a flight of 5 wines, and their Italian reds stood out as both bold and smooth—clearly chosen with care.
The wines were delicious and well-balanced, and the wine tasting menu had a little something for every palate. You can tell they take pride in their curation—nothing felt generic or mass-produced.
For the quality of wine and the unbeatable view, prices were very affordable. The tasting flight was reasonably priced, making it easy to enjoy a premium experience without breaking the bank.
Our bartender was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude. She took the time to walk us through our wine flight, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made us feel welcome the entire time.
Final Hellam’s Vineyard is a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon. What a great wine shop! Friendly people with a nice inventory. Shop retail with random areas for sitting to visit over a glass (or bottle) of wine. Patio on nice days and if you buy a bottle to drink there, cork fee is waived! I’m so happy the shop made it through COVID! I did an event here years ago and it was lovely. I highly recommend this business!

My wife and I went on one of Jeff's wine maker dinner cruises. It was a full flight of tastings served to us at our table, with information on the wines given by both Jeff and the winemaker. They were in constant motion to make sure our glasses were not empty for long, while being cautious not to overserve anyone. The dinner included fresh crab and just about the time I was planning to go wash my hands, someone made the rounds to deliver hot towels. It was a wonderful trip from La Conner to Deception Pass and back. We definitely want to go on another cruise next summer. One last note about Jeff - he is great at wine pairings. We go to him before every holiday dinner to have him make selections for our meal.
