Two years ago, my poor dining experience at La Conner Brewing led to my avoiding the place when I was in town. I took a risk today by trying again. The place was busy for a mid-afternoon & staff was hustling. Salmon tacos were decent, but the grilled chicken on the pizza was dry. Excellent selection of craft brews. Overall, La Conner Brewing Co. seems like an authentic brew pub & not a tourist trap.
Excellent location right on the main drag of La Conner. Outdoor, covered/heated area. Local craft beers and ciders (and wine). See also their sister, Firehouse. A bit of southwestern flavor with a lot of the menu items.
I have never been to your town, and it did not disappoint. I loved the businesses that made up the town. The food at your establishment was amazing and came out super fast. I ordered the guacamole which is always hit or miss for me because sometimes it’s spicy (don’t like spicy food) and other times it is not. It was prepared perfectly and I even tried the salsa, and let me be clear here, I am NOT a salsa person. However, it was delicious, and I will be back here again. Thanks...
