The vegan fish and chips was so good!! To have it on the menu, labeled vegan, with vegan sauce was so lovely! I probably never would have visited La Connor had I not seen this, and it was worth it 🥰
The vegan fish n chips was so amazing. I’ve tried other frozen filets and they smell and taste too fishy, it’s disgusting. But I don’t know what this place uses, and I think they might bread it themselves…. And the tartar sauce! I never liked tartar sauce, but this was delicious! I was very impressed!
Service beyond poor, menu very limited and food so bad. How do you screw up fish and chips. Cole Slaw was good and fresh ingredients
How can you veat eating on the waterfront. Food not the greatest. Mostly deep fried but the coleslaw is great. Fresh and service is the best.

Enjoyed the vegan fish and chips with vegan tartar sauce. Crispy and delicious. Coleslaw is not vegan but fries were good. Highly recommend
Really cute and chill, doesn't have tiramisu like shown on this app so be careful with that. Overall lovely visit.

La Conner does not have very many vegan options, so we were happy to find several vegan options on the menu at Wayerfront Cafe. The view of the river at the cafe is lovely and in warm weather there is a deck on the river to enjoy the water. We had the vegan fish and chips. Tartar sauce was vegan too. I’m sure the “fish” is from a boxed brand, but it was good. There is also a vegan black bean burger on the menu - will try that next time. Recommend
After touristing for a few days on Whidbey Island and having such a poor experience at Toby's, we were thrilled to have the opposite experience here. Excellent beer-battered halibut with crispy fries and some of the best cole slaw ever. Very good sautéed shrimp (could have used a touch of garlic, then it would have been perfect!). Very sweet, friendly and attentive server who was the only one ... and was doing a great job keeping up with all of the tables. Was happy to tip her well. Highly recommend!

Quite little place on the water food and staff were exceptional and very friendly. They made us feel like we were dining with family. My daughter is audhd and trying new food and eating in new places can be a struggle for her. She tried and ate a whole piece of beer battered cod and the special sauce for her fries.

Wonderful halibut and chips and macadamia nut encrusted halibut. We ate outside and watched the boats come and go. A lovely interlude.

Great waterfront view & service but the food was nothing special. I had the clam chowder & salmon burger, both tasted run of the mill & mass produced.

Varied menu with enough choices for everyone in our party of 5. Seating available on the waterfront patio or inside. We were promptly greeted and seated. Server stopped by for a drink order while we perused the menu. Food arrived in a timely fashion and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Server was very friendly and made our visit enjoyable. Will return.
