My friend brought me . there last week for breakfast for fist time ..put it this way was so good brought my wife this week..the place is awesome !
Super cute little restaurant pumping out some absolutely delicious food!! I had a chocolate malt milkshake that was the best milkshake I have had in a very long time. The oatmeal & hash browns were perfect also. My fiancée was very pleased with his eggs Benedict & cleaned his plate. We got muffins to go for breakfast tomorrow. Definitely worth checking out!!

I liked the place, but the “Biscuit” on the kids menu as the entree is a bit silly without gravy. Especially as a kids item that is only $3 less than the item itself. You’d be better off picking a different item there that doesn’t highlight the money grab.
Here is what being penny wise and pound foolish on the “$4 side of gravy” did:
Original order:
$22 Entree
$22 Entree
$12 Kids (B&G)
$12 Kids
$70 Total
Revised order:
$22 Entree
$15 B&G (split adult and kid)
$12 Kids
$49 Total
Service was excellent though!

We came here for breakfast on a weekend trip as we were passing through La Conner. We absolutely loved it here. The atmosphere is lovely and so cozy. The music selection is top notch, the Halloween decorations are beautiful and so much fun, and we had the most lovely waitress - probably one of the nicest we've ever encountered EVER. The food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back next time ?❤️

Great spot for breakfast or brunch. We had the bacon cheeseburger and the eggs Bennie. The burger was very tasty and recommend. The fries were not great so I’d opt for their salad or slaw. The eggs Bennie was pretty good. Eggs cooked perfectly and the hash browns were ok (shredded but I prefer potatoes chunks). Small critique I have for the hollandaise sauce is to have more lemon flavour. Other than that I would recommend. Service was phenomenal.

Cute place and great service but my daughter and I both ordered eggs benedict with poached eggs. I was disappointed because the egg yolks were hard in the middle. The yolks are supposed to be runny with poached eggs. I wanted to send them back but we were with a bigger group and didn’t want to be that person that sends food back and hold up the completion of breakfast. My daughter offered to switch eggs with me but then we realized that her poached eggs were overcooked too. The taste of everything else was good and I would’ve enjoyed it if the poached eggs were cooked properly. A lot of money to spend on something that we didn’t really enjoy.

What a great place for breakfast! First of all the coffee is good and just keeps on coming. All of the staff, even the cook, makes you feel so welcome. The decor is full of fun signs and saying so you just have to start your day smiling!! If you only get one chance to stop here, DO IT. We’ll be back the next time we are here.

Based on Google reviews, we tried this place yesterday.
TL;DR version of this review: good location; friendly vibe; excellent service; high prices; okay food; heavy duty plastic to-go container. We'd give it a 3.5 if Google allowed half stars.
If you want details...
It was oddly quiet for a Sunday at 11a. We were greeted with enthusiastic HELLOS! across the restaurant from the kitchen staff -- which was both surprising and charming. We asked to sit on the patio out front and, not long later, had a nice chat with our server. We also noticed a lot of friendly interactions with, and between, other patrons. Perhaps they were locals.
When we go out to eat, we look for things we wouldn't make at home and/or don't see at other restaurants. In this case, we ordered chicken fried steak and biscuits & gravy. They were $22 each -- as were most breakfast items on the menu. (Including burritos and tacos.)
The serving size for the chicken fried steak was reasonable. (Unlike at other restaurants where it's ridiculously big.) It came with two eggs, toast, and commercial-style hashbrowns. My dining companion said it was "Good...fine."
The biscuits and gravy - with two eggs and hashbrowns - was ENORMOUS. The eggs were perfectly over easy, as I requested. Unremarkable, shredded hashbrowns. Dough-y biscuits. Bland, flour-y gravy. So, on balance, I'd call it okay.
The highlight of our experience was our server whose name was Noelle, I think. She was friendly and attentive, without hovering. A good sense of humor too.
Our suggestions to the restaurant:
1. BISCUITS: Grill them before covering them with gravy.
2. GRAVY: Cook it longer and add more flavor.
3. HASHBROWNS: Add more flavor.
4. PORTIONS: Offer half portions at a lower price. (Especially important for tourists who aren't going home so don't want leftovers to carry around.)
5. TO GO CONTAINERS: Switch to compostable, please. (Since plastic recycling is a joke in this country, the heavy duty plastic one we were given will sit in the landfill for decades.)
Our suggestion to patrons who want biscuits and gravy:
Unless you plan to share or have a *huge* appetite, order a side of biscuits & gravy plus an egg. That would be plenty of food for most people and a more reasonable price.

I wish I could share a picture of the food I had. The teriyaki slider was so good I forgot about the existence of camera phones.
I've been going to breakfast often in the two years I've lived near La Conner. It's always been wonderful food and even better service.
The new owners have turned an excellent breakfast joint into a more elevated experience that will still have you coming back to try everything on the new menu.
I literally would drive 2 hours just to have a nice breakfast and support such a lovely establishment. I will be doing that soon. The town is lucky to have such great food available for breakfast. The community is lucky to have such wonderful business owners amongst them.
5 stars all around. Thanks Levi and crew! That teriyaki slider reallllllly hits the spot
