Didn't go for fish & chips. Went for the milkshakes. Excellent milkshakes. You'll like them.

Despite the rain and wind, this little place was so awesome! The lady who was serving us (on Halloween) was dressed up in an awesome costume, and she was super friendly and helpful.
We ordered a couple meals plus clam chowder. Our halibut, scallops, and clam chowders were phenomenal! Fries were also pretty awesome, though the seasoning was slightly uneven. Their tartar sauce and ketchup also had unique flavors.
The food was piping hot when we got it, so know it was fresh and cooked with proper timing. I'm so glad we got to swing by there before they closed for the evening.

So when you coming into La Conner there's Tunnies Fish and Chips. I recommend you to stop by and try them out if you haven't yet. This little place deserves a stop. Since this place has been there I have always wanted to try their food out. Today I left with a smile. I have to say they are lil spendy but its worth it. A couple things I like about this place: 1. As I chose to sit at one of their wooden tables to enjoy the great outdoors of this new place, it caught my eyes that they use 1. eco friendly material. There's a to-go box that's black and white (carboard)... There's a story on it, I don't know what it's about but I might have to read it when I get back home while I finish up the last piece of fish and fries. 2. Fish: Cod or Halibut. I chose cod for my pick for my fish. He said that the fish comes from Trident in Anacortes, I freaking LOVE IT. It was soooooo good. The fish lay nicely in a row on top of their steak fries, along the side there's two containers on a special sauce... The sauce does have a lil kick but nothing too fiery, very good (would have preferred tarter) but a creation of a new kind of sauce is a delight. Then you have your ketchup nothing too exciting lol. 3. shopping local. 4.The milk shake: Banana Cream pie OMG!!!! This was for real. It truly was pie in a cup topped with some whip cream. A boba straw to literally eat a pie through a straw, if you think you can't eat a pie threw a straw well grab a black boba straw and start sucking up this pie. There is no need to use a fork and plate. Good for on the go and there's not even a mess left behind. Great job, I wish you well in your lil restaurant! SBisson.
Delish fish n chips!
Usually fried food makes me ill but this was so tasty and tender and fried perfectly with no greasy taste
Terrific service from two professional fun young adults.
Cute outside tables too!
Will be back again and again

We’ve been to Tunnies several times and we absolutely love their fish and chips. We’ve had the cod and halibut and both were delicious. It’s great that, although fried, the final product is not too greasy, which sometimes happens with other fish & chips I’ve had. Also, their fries are crisp and tasty. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch. The shakes are yummy, too😋. Do yourself a favor and stop in next time you are in LaConner!

We finalize had a chance to try Tunnies while visiting family in La Conner. It was delicious! We had the halibut and chips. The batter was perfectly crispy but the fish still felt light. Loved the tartar sauce too. The staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Peel breading off to see if you get a worm. My fish had one. Good thing it was over cooked it killed it. Frozen fries. I believed all the good comments. It's horrible to find a parasite in my fish. Change your fishmonger. Wow. Over priced for what I got.

Such a hidden gem, with the best fish and chips! Definitely a must try if you’re in Washington. You can stop by here if you’re on your way to Anacortes. Ps the milkshakes are delicious too!

Might be the best fish n chips we’ve had in the PNW and we’ve tried a lot!! The batter on the fish was light, crispy, flavorful, and downright perfect. The fries “chips” were also fried to perfection and salted just right. The tartar sauce had the slightest hint of spice that paired well with the lemon squeeze. Great price too! Just go—you won’t be disappointed!
