Baby-Boomer Bikes

We bought a bike from Chaz last week and it was a great experience. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely going back for another one soon!!

I brought my e-bike battery to get it fixed 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t received any updates. I brought it in on a Monday and the person I spoke to said that it would be ready before the weekend because he was going fishing that weekend. I didn’t receive any calls or update on Friday. I call them on Saturday and whoever I spoke to said they have no ideas what’s going on with my service and would try to contact the guy on vacation and get more information. They never called me back. On Monday I got very sick and was incapacitated for a few days. When I was healthy again I called and got a voicemail that they would be closed for a whole week for 4th of July and another “fishing trip”. The voicemail said they would be back on the 5th but still no word. I called again today (9th) and they still have the same voicemail message. This is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend going to them. They might just forget about you and spend more time fishing than running a business.

Update:
I received an update today that my battery was fixed and ready to be picked up. I updated my rating to 4 stars because they didn’t charge me for the repair.

This is the best bike shop in King, Pierce or Thurston county. Chaz knows so much about bikes and he will make sure you get a great bike for what you need. If you are thinking about buying an e-bike, don't order one online and put it together. Let a pro do it for you! He will fit the bike, take you for a test drive and riding lesson and is available for maintenance and repair issues down the road. So glad we found this place after visiting dozens of other bike shops. We intended to buy a bike for my husband and I ended up buying one too!

Chaz fixed up my neglected and abused-by-saltwater Rad Runner with a new controller and complete tune up, at an affordable price.
We will happily make the drive from Seattle to Olympia for all of our electric bike maintenance!

I was recently in Baby Boomer bikes and had a fantastic service experience with Chazz and K on my new Lectric E-Bike. They are thorough and reasonably priced. Their customer service is exceptional. I am happily locked in for future service visits. I highly recommend Baby Boomer bikes for buying a new bike or having your existing bike serviced.

Great shop. Chaz is very knowledgeable about e-bikes and takes the time to show you what he’s doing. I own three Rad e-bikes. Will definitely use him from now on for any servicing and maintenance I need.

Great service! I came in initially for a front brake assembly install and to replace my folding latch on my Lectric xp 3.0. He is very knowledgeable and very nice. He did the work and also did a few extra things for my bike. brought it in and was done in about 2 hours or less. The price was good. Bonus points for his cute shop dog. highly recommend!! he is an authorized repair shop for lectric bikes and also sells the bikes himself.

My wife and I stopped by Baby Boomer bikes to look at the Aventon Ebikes. Chaz geared us up and sent us on a 3 mile ride. We were both sold. Chaz is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Chaz assembled the bikes and dropped off the bikes at out home. While he was here he helped me assemble the bike rack we purchased. He even stayed to make sure we knew how to properly secure the bikes to the rack. I would definitely recommend stopping by Baby Boomer bikes and talking to Chaz if you are in the market for a new Ebike.
