Okay so first things first, the food. I have always wanted to try this place. I've heard a lot of good things about it and I even remember when it was on the other side of town and I was interested in it but never got in.
I came to meet someone here for lunch and we met at 11:30, we were looking forward to the food and getting hungry! I did have a 1:00 meeting so I was hoping to get in and out within the hour.
The food was good. The shrimp Po-Boy was perfect. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, everything was seasoned. Well, it was delicious. I would definitely eat one of those again. The gumbo was really good, I was really surprised. It seemed really thin to me. I am not from New Orleans, but I've always understood the first ingredient to a great gumbo is a roux. It seems to me that if there was a roux at the foundation of this, there was perhaps way too much liquid used.
The most disappointing thing unfortunately was the service. The food took over 30 minutes, it was hot when it came out, the waitress was mildly apologetic, she didn't have a lot of emotion.
What was rather frustrating was we did see at least two tables get their food before us that came in long after us. The waitress said that the chef moved the tickets around and messed up the order. I don't know if that was intentional or unintentional.
Either way again the food was good and I mean not probably cheap but I wouldn't expect it to be prices I think were fair for the day that we are living in. I guess I would say that if you're looking to enjoy this kind of food and you're not in a hurry, and you're not expecting it quickly, it's still worth coming.
I definitely won't come back with a guest unless it's like my wife or somebody who's perfectly okay with taking a long time to be served.
My hope is it was just an off day there's not a lot of tables so it really shouldn't take that long.

As someone from the South I was very impressed.
Great food and yummy sweet tea.
The space is small but that did not affect the service or atmosphere.
I feel disrespected. WE DROVE FROM Seattle to this place in hopes the food would be worth it. NOPE! Everything I ate was an abomination. I feel like I have sinned against God. Service was cool tho!
Beau Legs is the best place for catfish, hush puppies & any other southern craving you may have. Ordered the Catfish/ Shrimp basket. The server Miranda was friendly, the vibe was positive. Coleslaw was creamy but crunchy, not too sweet. Portions were more than my husband and I could eat. I highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the food. Everything was flavorful and high quality. Prices are a bit steep, so it’s more of a quarterly treat than a regular spot for us, but we would definitely return.

We've enjoyed the delicious food here over many years. Husband and wife owners Shelly and Germaine, consistently provide the best fish-and-chips anywhere. The fries, cole slaw and hush puppies are a fantastic compliment. The large portions are very much appreciated nowadays. Without exception, everything on the menu is outstanding, and we've tried it all! We have referred many friends to this restaurant, and everyone has made it a point to thank us for this great recommendation. Shelly's specials are equally outstanding. Try it, and you won't be disappointed. Like us, you'll be back again, and again and again! Kirk & Diana Hansen

They have the best hush puppies! We often get their delicious gumbo when we are in town, but this time we branched out and shared their specials. The best fried chicken! The jambalaya was delicious. Truly the best Southern food in the Pacific NW. It truly brings back memories of New Orleans.

Everyone is so nice! I had the shrimp and grits and my son had the cod fish and chips. The shrimp and grits were so delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone passing by or a local that needs a warm happy meal.
