I got the shrimp poboy, which was piled high and served with fries. Spouse got the cod basket, small size, and almost couldn't finish it. Both were well prepared and good value for the price. We'll be back.

So good! The service was excellent. I had the ribs, collard greens, and fried pickles plus peach lemonade. My husband had fried gizzards and the Jumbalaya.

My first experience of catfish and hush puppies, even brought home some gumbo which was also great. Nice spot- food, people & atmosphere. Family run business. When we visited the Daughter was attending guests & Dad was top Chef, serving up Great Grandma’s delicious recipes.

With a restaurant named “Beau Legs Fish & Chips “ and the menu they have I guess my expectations were set high. We went in person earlier in the because it said opened but they were closed. Today, we called ahead first, the call was answered but the lady never said anything and just hung up. When we got there there was one highly working elder woman server who seems to know what to do and one younger lady who seemed to focus on her looks vs helping customers. Now the food is fine, not great but okay. The serving amount for the price is not up to par. My partner ordered fish & chips and they were out of fries/chips, fried pickles were VERY salty. I’ve never had collard greens served in a mostly clear liquid and little bits of pork but it was edible, I actually had to add salt so you know if you need to season collard greens it’s not made right. Chicken po boy was okay but made wrong as I asked for no tomato’s. Again they were out of fries, the only real thing we liked was the hush puppies. Mac and cheese was eh, again edible but this is NOT a southern restaurant, it’s definitely a wanna be southern restaurant.

Website said they were open. The door said they were open but they were 100% not open.

I should have looked in my bag before leaving and making it home. I thought I ordered gumbo but not sure what I got. 1shrimp, sausage and chicken. I don’t maybe I missed something. Broth had flavor other than from where I’m from I can’t call it gumbo. Maybe sausage soup?

Best food I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. The hush puppies are light as air, the jambalaya had great flavor, the Mac n cheese was creamy and soft, and the fried catfish…. Best I have ever had! (And I’ve had a lot!) They make all of the food from scratch. We will absolutely be eating here more often. My only regret, we should have tried this place sooner!

Absolutely best around for miles. Drove 45 mins north just to eat here and was not disappointed. Service was great and food so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place. I know we will be back

The food is decent, very very salty. But we’ve given it time and time again. They’ll say 15 minute and it turns into an hour. They’ll say 25 it turns to an hour and a half. They make up their own hours most of the time. And they’re so beyond unreliable it’s infuriating. Plan on waiting forever. And they’re prices are unjustifiable
