We will give them another try but our meal wasn’t the best! The chef had a heavy hand with the salt on the gumbo I couldn’t even eat it!! And the grits had no salt, so bland! Fried okra was fabulous 👍🏻
The food was overcooked and way over seasoned! Not worth 20.00 at all.

A hidden gem! The hush puppies were delicious and different! A great portion and very well affordable. The service was great and she did not disappoint on what was recommended. Definitely will be one of my favorite eat spots. The atmosphere gives you a big restaurant feel with a small neighborhood everybody knows everyone feel.
I had shrimp, cod, tilapia, fries, and slaw.

I just got back from New Orleans where I had an oyster po boy which is what I always order at Beau Lega and I can’t wait to go in to get another one and tell them theirs are better than what I had in New Orleans !!!
Overpriced bland food. It took over an hour to get food for two people. The cooks were more interested in talking with each other and having their friends come into the back to visit than serving food. The only item of food I would eat here again were the hushpuppies, everything else I could make better and faster at home.

food is good but service is subpar. when you order online and call for pick up, they wait till you’re there to pick up the food to make the food. there’s no point in calling or ordering ahead. you might as well order there. however, if they close within an hour or 2 they won’t answer the phone at all. so, you go to the restaurant to place an order but they say they’re not taking new orders because their restaurant is full. not sure if they have to better staff the place but they can’t handle busy days and won’t cook an hour and a half before close lol

Drove 30 minutes to try this restaurant and it is closed...nothing on the door or website to indicate such.
Half of our party got the clam chowder and ended up sick for two days. My brisket sandwich was like eating leather. Won't be back.

2nd time visiting this place and they didn't disappoint! There was no wait when we arrived so we got to sit down immediately. Our waitress was great and personable. They had some specials for the day that sounded really good but we decided to just stick with their usual menu options.
I got the Catfish and Shrimp Basket and my husband got the Surf & Turf. Their catfish is always great and well seasoned, and I loved the shrimp (breaded in panko and deep fried). Their coleslaw is made sweet (personally, I don't like sweet coleslaw) but it was not too bad. Their fries are perfectly fried and lightly seasoned with Cajun seasoning. My husband enjoyed his meal as well, though he became a bit regretful and wished he ordered one of the specials haha.
Definitely will return here again in the near future when I get my next catfish craving and so my husband can try their ribs next!

So I have actually never been here and only have been given by a coworker a half of deep fried catfish (have never had catfish before) and deep fried pork chop and my god were my socks blown off and put a smile on my face. Can't wait to come try the chicken and waffle.

The food was delicious and owners are kind and friendly. Between the three of us we pretty much had one of everything. The steak sandwich, captains platter, halibut, gumbo, clam chowder, gizzards, bread pudding, pecan pie. Everything is fresh, tastes fresh and made to order. 10/10 recommend!!

This place is insane. The staff is friendly and inviting. The chef, not cook, CHEF has a gift of making magic with his food. Everything was seasoned just right and cooked from scratch. There was no white space on the plate when they brought our food. Needless to say, I have something to snack on tonight...lol. Don't sleep on this place because if you do, you will miss out on a taste of heaven. Believe That!!!

Love the rich wood paneling. Service is friendly and joyful. I expressed not wanting many carbs, and they allowed me to sub the fries and hushpippies for red beans and rice. I can taste the authentic ham hock flavor in the beans. They suggested I have one grilled and one fried catfish. The fish is delicious either way and cleaned really well. My husband got a mountain of food with the Captain's platter. We shouldn't have started with the gizzards cause we ate them as if our last meal. Flavorful experience. We will definitely be back to try everything else. Denise, Shelley or "Ma" and Miranda are the sweetest. The cook well, he or she is cooking and we love everything about this place.
