I ordered a large Fire sandwich to go on a Friday evening around 5:30. There were three people ahead of me waiting for their orders, so I expected to wait a bit. It was 30 minutes before I got mine. I was excited to try this sandwich I heard so much about: delicious, stuffed with meat, etc. I put half in the fridge and unwrapped the other half. I expected it to be squished, but did not expect it to be so thin, even though I ordered without cheese. I opened the sandwich and there was lettuce, lots of jalapenos, a 1-inch piece of bacon, and a small amount of thinly sliced turkey. I unwrapped the other sandwich and found it was the same except for it had 3 small pieces of bacon. Everything was drowning in mayo sauce. I was so disappointed. I rewrapped the other sandwich, and ate the first one. It was ok. Bread delicious as advertised, but overall it tasted like a mayo, lettuce, and jalapeno sandwich. I did not want to call them out on social media and you cannot FB message them so I emailed pictures along with telling them my experience. I heard nothing back. I finally replied to one of their posts and got a snarky response. When the owner realized I was serious along with me posting a picture, he said that wasn't up to their standards and I could call or come by to have my sandwich replaced. I thanked him and said I would come by the next time I was in the area. That next time was yesterday. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to come by after a Spring Break trip with my grandchildren. I introduced myself to the owner and he remembered me. He said I was supposed to call so we could talk and after reviewing the photos, there was nothing wrong with my sandwich and he would not be replacing it. Conveniently, the post where that discussion took place has been taken down. He also explained how many ounces of turkey go on each size of sandwich. I worked in food service many years and know my way around a food scale. I thanked him and left. I don't need my order replaced by someone who reneges on their promise to make things right, but I will surely make sure everyone knows my experience.
So years after talking about it, and years after just getting milkshakes, I FINALLY got a sandwich from Canna Cabana. I'm an idiot for waiting so long. Friendly service, and a delicious sandwich. I went pretty "basic" with the "Super Dank" - Turkey, ham, bacon, provolone, and crushed Doritos - I did cool ranch. Super fresh, crisp lettuce, nice tomato, just a good solid sandwich. About the same price point as big chains, but way better... BUT... and this is a big BUT DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT wear overalls and eat this sandwich while driving. It was a literal storm of crushed Doritos in my pants when I got home. So many Doritos. So ranchy. This will however, make your dogs VERY happy when you come home, change only to shower them with Dorito crumbs like it's New Years in Times Square.
Our only complaint is that on our last two visits, they have mixed up the bread for each sandwich.

Honestly leaving a one star review due to the fact they don’t follow their posted hours. I really wanted to try this spot out, got there shortly before 11 and waited no one showed up by 11:07 so had to leave

Finally! I can break up with Subway for good!! I saw this business recommended on the Best of Olympia Facebook group. Was impressed by their recent health inspection. Friend and I ordered some sandwiches and shakes. Was absolutely not disappointed. This is the most meat I’ve gotten on a sandwich in a long time, actually felt like I got what I paid for. High quality ingredients, super fresh, flavorful, tasty. Half a sandwich kept me full the rest of the night! Shakes are very thick and yummy. This is not a fast food place though! Unlike Subway, they take their time putting the sandwiches together instead of throwing the ingredients between the bread as fast as possible. You might want to anticipate a 10 minute wait or order online ahead of time. When I’m craving a sandwich, I’ll be sure to come back.

I tried the John Gotti. I got the whole sub for $15. It was so good! Very filling, and worth the money! I was able to split the sandwich and have it for lunch and dinner. They were very friendly as well. I will definitely be eating here again.

I've been to the Whitman Lane location several times and it never disappoints, no matter what I've gotten! The sandwiches are delicious (have not yet tried the mac and cheese) and the selection is everything I want in a sub shop; I want every sub which is rarely the case anywhere else I have been. Plus I'm a sucker for a unique sweet treat menu like the Cap'n Crunch milkshake or their gooey balls! It is bright and clean EVERY time I'm in there which I always appreciate. One of the best things? Everyone who works there is so wonderfully happy and welcoming. It's a family owned business and you can see their dedication by their friendliness and the love they put into their dank subs! I'll never get a sub from any other place because I know they won't quite live up to a Canna Cabana sub.
