We used to go to their Redding, CA location when traveling (also a 4.5 star location) from Modesto to Weaverville. When we moved near Lacey, we were happy to see this location and the similarities. The doughnuts are fresh, it's open 24/7, the customer service is friendly, and the Lacey, WA location is clean inside. Here's some pictures of the moon from their parking lot. āØļø
Iāve ordered here twiceāthe first time was in person and the selection was good, service was good, donuts were tasty. The second time, I ordered Uber Eats. They donāt allow you to select which donuts you want in a dozen, they provide you with an assortment. I paid for four add-ons and only received two, which they substituted two of my other donuts for, so thatās 4 missing donuts total (12 + 4 add-ons = 16 total). On top of that, their āassortmentā was a variety of chocolate icing + sprinkles. On ALL of them except ONE. Thatās absolutely ridiculousāchocolate + sprinkles is our least favorite, and it seems like they just gave us a bunch of the undesirables.
To add insult to injury, we never received the $6 drink we ordered. Whether that was the driver or the store, Iām unsure. And to make things even worse, when we reported all the missing donuts and drink (to the tune of ~$12) we were only refunded $3. We hardly ever report issues with Uber Eats, so thatās was frustrating given that well maybe eat 3 of the 12 donuts we received.
Highly disappointedāeither make the item selection in Uber Eats better, explain that an āadd-onā is just an up charge to substitute a āfancyā donut, refund drinks or donāt offer them/make sure the driver gets them, or donāt be on Uber Eats.
