We’ve always enjoyed going to Hop and Drops and it’s been a regular spot for us over the years, which is why this is disappointing to write. Unfortunately, the food we had on our most recent visit was terrible — poorly prepared and nowhere near the quality we’ve come to expect.
We’ve noticed the overall food quality slowly going downhill over time — not an instant drop-off, but a gradual decline that’s becoming harder to ignore. That said, we’re still giving this a 5-star review because the staff has always been fantastic. Service has consistently been friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which is a big reason we’ve kept coming back.
We truly want this place to succeed and hope the kitchen quality turns around, because we’d hate to stop visiting a spot we’ve enjoyed for so long.

Great food and service. Their drinks are so fun. I love having the option for fun non-alcoholic drinks and the western burger hit the spot! Gluten free friendly with GF buns. The staff knew what they were talking about!!! Knowledgeable on allergens and menu. Will be back soon

Hops and Drops in Lacey used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I have been going for years and have always loved the atmosphere, the wait staff has been wonderful and food was always great. Sometimes I would eat in and sometimes I would order takeout with no problems. Although lately the takeout has gone way downhill. Two times in the last month and a half I ordered takeout and when I went to pick it up it wasn’t ready. No problem, so I thought. I can wait. I saw the takeout receipt with my name hanging where they put the orders. Come to find out both times the order was never given to the kitchen and I had waited quite a while. The first time, I asked to be refunded and the manager took care of refunding me and gave me a gift card. I realize things happen, they get busy but was extremely disappointed when it happened again and my order was never given to the kitchen. It will be a long time before I ever go back and I was a frequent customer. They really need to get their act together when it comes to takeout orders. Update: After opening the bag I realized I didn’t get my whole order.

My girlfriend and I ordered in last night and we were both extraordinarily sick within 10 minutes of eating. Each only ate a couple of bites of our meals because they were so yucky. Unfortunately that didn't stop us from throwing up half the night. I will never order from this place again.
