Been coming here for years, but haven’t been in the area for over a year, so first trip back. Broth used to be so good, not so much now. Party of 5 came in at 8:24 and server said we are only taking take out orders now because kitchen is closing. Then another party of 3 came in and she sat them. Asked “ do you know what you want, because the kitchen is closing soon”. The people left. Sad. Used to be sooo good. Probably won’t be back.

While the service and the atmosphere was great, the food was a great disappointment. The spring roll contained way too much noodles, filling us up way too much before we started the pho. The pho broth was extremely watered down and the sriracha and the salt I added didn't help. I would advise that they reduce their broth portions and add less water to their broth.

When ordering pickup just don't it take much longer to have your order prepared

Pho was $17.99 for a large (pre-tax), salty, and the generous meat portion didn’t match the smaller noodle amount. Was going to rate 3 stars, but the service was excellent — likely the owner — very attentive and even offered a free bubble tea sample. That hospitality earned the extra star.

Great food atmosphere is calm and people are nice.

Even got a sample of bubble tea

I would choose lavender

Prices are same as anywhere else in the Olympia area

Really good pho, the brisket and steak is a favorite.

Also the yellow chicken curry is surprisingly amazing!

This order was a to go order but I have eaten inside the restaurant before and the atmosphere and the service was great! I ordered the Penang curry, crab wontons and the shrimp tempura. Everything had great flavor, the curry had a good bit of chicken which I love. The breading on the wontons and tempura was light and crispy. I definitely try and eat here twice a month lol.

Today I was feeling pretty sick and after a long day of work all I wanted was a hearty bowl of soup. Unfortunately when I picked up my food I was met with micro aggressive behavior as if I was trying to scam them out of a free meal. I walked in and gave the man my name and that I was picking up my online order. The man then grabbed my order and proceeded to ask for evidence of a confirmation. I showed the man my phone with the messages that my order was ready for pick up (I included the pic of what the messages said in this review) however this was STILL not enough and the man then proceeded to ask for proof of my ID. Which should not have gone that far in the 1st place because how would anyone other than me know that I was at that specific restaurant picking up an order at that exact time with my name. My paid order should have been handed over to me when I gave my name. Meanwhile when I was grabbing my ID out of the car a white male was walking in to pick up his order and was given his order without 3 steps of identification. As the man was walking out to his car i stopped him to ask if he was required to show proof of ID and he responded “No”. This behavior is disappointing and moving forward I will not be giving this business anymore of my hard earned money. This business needs to do better.

This place is very expensive. I don't think the taste of the food is worth $20 per person.
This is a good place. The service is respectable, and the atmosphere could be better, but it is in a smaller sized location. This place used to be better priced a few years ago, food being $10-20, but they've increased prices about $5 more.

Rebecca was so helpful and had wonderful customer service when I spoke to her on the phone before I ordered our food on Uber eats! Thank you SO much for taking the time to label the sandwich and salad dressing to notify us it had dairy in it because you remembered when I ordered that I asked for no mayo on the sandwich because it had dairy. But you went above and beyond because I wouldn’t have known the salad dressing had dairy in it I f you didn’t add a note to it! Your kindness is so appreciated!

Dietary restrictions: My daughter can’t eat dairy.

Came by for the first time today, and ordered the #05 (Steak & flank phò). Best Broth I've tasted in town!!! It's very flavorful and not at all watered down. The sizing of the bowl was a lot larger than I expected, having ordered the Regular Size bowl. Overall great food.

First time. I had heard good things. We were driving all day and came back around dinner time not wanting to cook.

My daughter has Celiac, so she needed gluten free Pho. I was surprised getting GF Pho (in this area) was such a challenge. Rice noodles are generally GF, as are so many soy sauces. Apparently not at HG.

So they gave her vegetable Pho with chicken. Looked bland if you ask me. My daughter didn't say much, so maybe she enjoyed it?

I got the Banh Mi which is generally a favorite of mine. it was OK. Pretty small with not much meat for $14.

Disappointed for the price for sure.

The staff was very sweet and kept tabs on us. The pho was very tasty. The broth seemed richer than others and full of meaty flavor. Great portions of noodles and meat with the spices just right. This broth can handle more sriracha sauce if needed. We also had Thai tea with Boba added, which was delicious as well. We have tried many of the pho locations in the area, and we feel this deserves an additional mention because it will probably appeal to newbies as well. Keep going because this was delicious ?
