Bad news: Lacey Jim Bob’s is permanently closed. I ate there a lot so I miss the staff and the food, both of which were excellent. I will travel to the still-open McKenna location when I can.
We came across this GEM on google maps rushing to get my hubby lunch before dropping him off at work Thursday and we’re blown away by the service and AMAZING food!! You are missing out if you haven’t checked them out yet 10/10 with A+ Service =]My husband eats burgers a few times a week and said hands down this is the best burger he has ever had! Now that’s a statement coming from him.We ordered the double bacon cheese burger with tots I was pleasantly surprised to see 3x the amount of tots you will get anywhere else. The worker was so welcoming and helpful as is was our first time helping me decide. I asked him how long of a wait to see if we even had time to order because my husband had to work in 15 minutes he assured me he will have time and offered to bring the order out to my car which I really appreciated! 6 minutes later we were on the road I’m shocked how fast the service was and everything was cooked to perfection
Visiting from Texas and thought I should compare Barbecue. The barbecue and sides were very good. Service was excellent.A good choice for any meal.
Ordered the chili cheese fries because like advertised, they look great. WELL. this is how they actually come…. No toppings. JUST chili and fries. Canned chili tastes better then the barf you call this.
Worst BBQ I have ever had in my life. I have never received an order of brisket that was literally a pile of meat and a cup of sauce...and the amount of fat chunks in my weighed portion was ridiculous. The pics say it all. My kid wouldn't even finish the Mac & Chz...he's 12, he will eat ANYTHING.But at least it was cold.Praying for no food poisoning.
The only saving grace was the very friendly people in the drive thru. I ordered brisket, fried okra, and coleslaw. Nothing had any seasoning and the brisket was dry. Will not be returning. Hours later, my entire family was left with really bad indigestion and upset stomachs.
ETA: We went back and I snagged a picture for you all. Some things do not need pictures. In this case...the chicken fried steak! Y'all! This Southern Belle did the happy dance with every bite. It was so so good! I will definitely be visiting again soon...and adding an order of FRIED OKRA! ??
While not the best burger I have ever eaten, this is probably the leading candidate in the tri-city area for burgers at speed. The fries are battered! The onion rings aren't greasy. The burgers are tasty and the ingredients appear fresh. The staff are the best part. They show such patience and friendliness to my kids. They are professional. It's not true fast food, but it's not slow either. The ambience is a bit dated, poorly painted, stained, and oily feeling, but it's not gross.Bonnie was one of the kindest servers I've had in years! A very gracious lady.We will definitely be back.
First time eating here, came in with my grandson. Clean, airy, good parking. The waitress was kind and provided excellent customer service. I ordered a 1/4lb burger with homemade fries. It was the best burger I've had in Thurston county in a very long time! The meat was good quality, the onion was sweet, the tomato and lettuce were fresh, the mayo based sauce was just right! My grandson had a mixed meat plate with two bbq meats, sweet potato fries and green beans with bacon...he ate every bite and wants to go back there again. So happy we tried this place, . we want to share this find with our friends and family. ❤They also serve breakfast all day, we like their unique menu and will be having breakfast there soon!AND I noticed they also had carrot cake and peanutbutter cake available today. ?
Tried this place for the first time with a pickup order. Very convenient to call the order in and pick it up at a drive up window. We were able to have breakfast at dinner time so got the chicken fried steak and eggs. Excellent! We also picked up a couple of meat plates for lunch the next day. The brisket is very good, chicken was decent and the pulled pork was good also. Tried the potatoe salad, baked beans and onion rings. All were great! Now for the dessert. I got the carrot cake and I have to say it was delicious, moist and flavourful! It may be one of the best carrot cakes I have had! The cinnamon roll was very good also. We will definitely be back to try ther burgers and other items.

A very quaint little restaurant! Our server recommend the pig nachos, which were actually like a BBQ loaded fries. They were incredible! Prices are good and the servings are huge. Definitely a repeat for our family.
Staff is very friendly. Food is not the best. Very bland. I would go to Burger King or some other fast food over Jim Bob's. I am very open to all different types of cuisines however I would definitely skip this diner.
Good food but incredibly rudeness at the very end. As I was signing the bill, the waitress took the meal my daughter was finishing straight out of her hands without asking either of us if she was finished. She wasn't.To special needs children, some things nean a great deal more than so called normal adults can comprehend. Her feelings were hurt. No one said another word to us.If there was a seating shortage, there might be some impetus to turn the table that quickly. There was no such shortage.I regret the tip.Never again will we eat here.
The breakfast food is always incredible. Nearly $20 a meal, but good for a treat. Easily shared between two people. Jim Bob's scramble is amazing with English muffin and side of bacon.
Our lunch was great. I am especially fond of hamburgers. I'll rate this place in my top 10. Although I generally don't care for coated frys, Jim Bob's are very good.Great service. I am going to return to try out the homemade desserts.
