Good sushi! We loved the avocado bomb, boss roll, seared salmon roll, and geisha roll with spicy tuna. Would have preferred paper menus to using a phone but the food and service was good. Didn’t like the Ninja Roll as much. Great spot for lunch or dinner!

Apparently you can’t order takeout an hour before close because they do “last call” an hour before closing. What? lol

This is my boyfriend and my favorite place to eat. We come here at least once a week. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and amazing. The food is beyond this world. If you like sushi, this is a must try!
Parking: Not a lot of parking in the front but there is more in the back and they have handicap parking and are wheelchair accessible. However, the parking is relative to the restaurant dine-in size. They are currently expanding, though!

One question - Where’s the meat??!! We’d heard great things about this restaurant but were extremely disappointed with the yakisoba and a noodle bowl - smallest amount of meat we have ever seen at this type of restaurant. They should lower the price or provide more meat.

Remodeling is looking fabulous 👌
Vegetarian options: Known for their veg options and completely vegan menu
Dietary restrictions: Vegan menu is very cool and has good variety, including a dozen or so complex vegan rolls
Parking: Some in front, more in back
Kid-friendliness: Always have my 3 kids with me, they always accommodate very kindly with plasticware instead of glass/silverware/hashi without being asked. Always very nice about when I need to step outside to quiet a squirmy baby or send my preschooler to hang on the deck in front or in back right in front of the window where we can see each other.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and handicap parking, seating can accommodate wheelchairs and other handicaps, but not sure if the door is wide enough for special wheelchairs/mobility chairs

Great update to the place! The food was always good but now it’s got a really nice interior to match. The new curry additions are so good! My Omni eating kid loved the pork version and the vegans loved the tofu. Well worth checking out again if you haven’t been back since the renewed the memo.
Update - took another friend (Omni eater) and we both version of the curry udon, unsurprisingly it was great.
Vegetarian options: Have a full vegan menu with sushi

Kamakura serves the best authentic Japanese cuisine. My Tempura Udon noodle soup was amazingly delicious! The staff are very friendly, courteous, and patient with their customers. Great setting as well, and they even have a back dining patio. Thank you for the "Authentic " delicious meal. A'riguto!

I celebrated my birthday with my husband at this amazing sushi restaurant and had a wonderful experience
Delicious. Great staff
I would have loved to order but unfortunately the person was very unhelpful.
I tried to place a to-go order and called with my order. Everything I tried to order I was told was no longer on the menu. No problem! I can eat pretty much anything. I asked if she could just tell me what is on the menu or what she recommends and I would like to order that then. She told me she could not do that. I said I really want to order but since I don’t have an accurate menu and she won’t tell me what’s on the menu then how am I supposed to order? She said she didn’t know. So I told her OK and have a good day and didn’t end up being able ordering from them. Very weird experience. It’s so easy to be helpful. Not sure why some businesses make it so hard.
