Koibito One Sushi & Teriyaki

My 8 year old son and I went here to a Mother and Son outing. The lady was very nice to him and gave him a fancy cup, kid friendly chop sticks and even brought ice for his soup so he wouldn’t burn his mouth. Above and beyond service.

Super friendly and interactive. The sushi was amazing! We were only in town a few days, but made multiple stops! Prices are reasonable and the quality is very high.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience!
The staff were all very kind and attentive to our needs.
They're selection of sushi rolls gives us plenty reason to go back on many occasions. (Definitely give that Yelm Roll a go, it's a BANGER!)
They're non-sushi menu items also slap! My wife did they're Orange Chicken and their crispy chicken with sweet orange sauce were the perfect combination of sweet and savory.
Don't sleep on the gyoza either, those were incredible!

Our go-to place for special occasions. Menu is diverse, and there’s something for everyone. Teriyaki chicken is excellent, caterpillar roll is adorable. Brought family visiting from out of town and all 8 people loved what they ordered. Staff are always very friendly. The signage outside could use an update, but it’s got a nice locally owned vibe anyway.

Ordered Beef Teriyaki with fried rice, and server gave me beef fried rice. She did repeat the order when I ordered it but I thought she said Teriyaki beef, but I ordered for 4 people, and was making sure everyone elses order was correct as well. When the wrong plate came out i didn't have enough time to let them fix it so I just ate it. I did let her know at the end that I was given the wrong thing and she literally laughed, and said we'll I repeated it, and I said I thought you said Teriyaki when you repeated it. Most restaurants would justify this with an apology, or discount on the food when given the wrong order, but not her, or this place. I could have justified it by not tipping, but I am not that mean, and still tipped her. Had to use the bathroom immediately after as the food did not sit right. I have been here before, and have had other issues, but wont be back after this one. $84 for myself, and 3 kids with no drinks I would expect to at least have a decent meal out of it

OMG! I had the BEST Steak and Shrimp Yakisoba from this place! The steak was cooked to perfection, the shrimp were huge and tasted so fresh. I was mad I shared my plate when it was over lol. It was that good! Plus, the lady who took out order was very kind. Great service, delicious food.

I love this resturant, one of my favorite sushi resturants, prices are reasonable they always have good decently cheap combo options. Their chicken Katsu is so yummy. Theyre so sweet everytime, and I've been there for mine, and my brothers birthday and they'll put together a cute sushi boat with sparklers for you. I would recommend again and again

The place itself is clean and the service was great. However, at least for sushi, I can't recommend them at all. The other food they had looked good, but I only ordered sushi. Honestly the nigiri quality was really low. The rice on the nigiri wasn't seasoned very well, and they had too much rice per fish on the nigiri. The fish didn't taste fresh at all. We ordered the o-toro, which was listed as a fresh fish on their board inside, but when it arrived the fish was discolored and brown, which shows that it was frozen and improperly dethawed, oxidizing the meat, and drastically impacting the flavor. Picture below is of the o-toro piece. It was $14.99 for 2 pieces. I would come back to try the teriyaki and other dishes, but I won't ever get sushi from here again. For the price I expect much more.
