Seated right away we had chips and salsa almost immediately everything was fast and hot can't ask for more than that

The drinks were great. Our server and other staff were friendly and accommodated our party of 11 quite well. The food was flavorless, and the salsa tasted like it came from a jar.

The service was amazing our servicer was such a sweetheart, the food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant was fun with hidden googly eyes 100% recommend for anyone who wants a good meal with excellent service, and a fun atmosphere

Wonderful visit..seated and served immediately. Our waiter was gracious and helpful in decision making, and his follow through excellent. Hostess was divine and thorough.

Went for the first time today and really enjoyed the cheese enchiladas, chicken nachos, smoky house salsa and the guacamole. Prices were very reasonable, servers were polite and it was comfortable inside without incredibly loud music. We'll be back

I have always loved the arroz con pollo at the mayan, but now that I live out of state I can't find any like it. What is that sauce? It's my favorite!

Food is always good as well as the service. This is a mainstay Mexican Restaurant in Lacey. They have served Lacey for many years.

Update 4-13-25, excellent meal as always. Staff, service and food continue to be first rate!

Stopped by Mayan Family Mexican Restaurant for a meal and was pleasantly surprised by the food! Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. The restaurant itself was pretty empty when we arrived, which made for a quiet dining experience.

Our server, an older gentleman, was incredibly courteous and welcoming. However, the initial greeting from the two younger staff members left something to be desired—they didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic or welcoming. Not sure what the issue was, but it didn’t set the best first impression.

That said, the food more than made up for it, and we’ll definitely be back! Hopefully, the overall service experience improves, but if you’re looking for solid Mexican cuisine, this spot delivers.

Friendly service and great chili relleno, my favorite!

Amazing! This is the one on Yelm Highway by Safeway. We had the Valentines Special. 4 meat Fajitas and a cheesecake chimichanga for dessert! So yummy! Beautiful paintings on the walls. Our waiter was so attentive as was the rest of the staff. Our new favorite neighborhood restaurant! Wow!
