Been coming here for years but today our experience at Pho Hoa was really disappointing. Our boba arrived when we were basically done with our meal, and when it finally showed up, it tasted like spoiled milk. We didn’t bother to say anything since we both work in restaurants and understand these things happen. We noticed our uncle was dining there too, so we went to pay our tab. The server told us we were fine because our uncle had taken care of it, so we went to thank him. But as we were leaving, a lady ran after us yelling for us to pay the tab. I explained what the server said, and she told us to wait while she checked inside. She came back and said our uncle hadn’t paid yet but would cover it for us. The communication was horrible—this should have been cleared up by the server in the first place. On top of that, the service was bad since our drinks took forever. Definitely not coming back.

Very Disgusting. This place is going down hill since ownership change a year ago. Make sure you read the recent reviews not the older ones. I ordered take out and seen a bug in my vegetable garnish. 🤢🤮🤢

Bad service, I asked for water twice and they didn't bring it to me, and when they gave it to me it had a piece of meat or something like that inside. Also the glass was dirty.
I also ordered a mango tango and it had no flavor at all.I usually come to this place often and order food but I don't think I'll come back.

Been coming here for years, as of lately it's been really disappointing. Went yesterday and both my wife and I ordered the seared garlic steak pho. Which is phenomenal if you get it. We both got basically beef pho, no garlic whatsoever. We complained about it, they didn't offer to fix it or remake it for us. No compensation of any sort for receiving what wasn't our order.

We also came here a few months back, I ordered pho and my wife ordered banhmi. Managed to finish my pho, and my wife never got her banhmi sandwich. Again, complained, had the sandwich taken off but that was it. No I'm sorrys of any sort, just waisted our time. Went somewhere else where we could actually get service so my wife could eat.

This use to be one of our go to restaurants in the area. We have tried eating here over the past several months but we will no longer be going back.

Reviews:
Food has gone down hill over several months. We were hoping it would get better but it has not.

Rice was under cooked - common now every time we go.

Popcorn chicken - looked like it was all the scraps from what was cooked that day. We could not even eat it.

Lemon grass porkchops - flavor was ok but nothing to write home about.

We really wanted to like it but we just can’t. There are better options in the area for good food and this unfortunately is not the place.

Sad to see one of our favorite restaurants go through such a drastic change in quality.

Service is great, friendly people and wonderful staff.

This review is a combination of take out and in restaurant dining over several months of eating here.

I ordered a smoothie with boba from here. This used to be my favorite place! Once I tried it I was hooked but recently I got a smoothie from here two weeks ago and the smoothie had HAIR in it. Then I ordered another one today and the smoothie has a dead bug in it, something tiny like a fruit fly and if I wasn’t paying attention I would’ve drank it. The cashier said it was a piece of the blended fruit but it was tiny and black with little hairs and I ordered a mango smoothie and last time I checked mango doesn’t have any black seeds inside. Both times the store offered to remake my drink. I was refunded once and they remade my drink the second time. I only put 2 stars instead of 1 because the store was very kind and willing to fix the issue however I don’t want to order food and constantly be searching inside to see if there’s hair or something else not supposed to be there. I am sad because their smoothies are freaking amazing- taste wise, but I don’t want a 3rd incident.

I ordered the Thai boba tea and asked for less sugar, but it was still extremely sweet with barely any tea flavor. It just tasted like sugary milk. It costs almost $8.

It was ok. My food came out cold. Apps got served with our mains. My sons noodles were really good. They were a little busy. But they didn't bring me my drink.

No longer my go to pho place with the change in ownership. Broth used to be deep and rich with visible fat on the surface, now watery and flavorless. Ordering a large doesn't mean anything anymore besides a few extra ounces of broth. Portions are laughably smaller compared to how they were a year ago. I ordered a large tonight and received the exact same amount of ingredients as my partner who ordered a normal. 2 total jalapeno slices, one lime quarter, a sprinkle of sprouts and 4 leaves of basil, all of which didn't seem very fresh. Onions were dry and seemed like they had sat for a while. The steak and brisket didn't seem as fresh as it used to be either. Service is always alright and the restaurant is a nice place but I can't recommend the food anymore, which is the main pull of a restaurant.

As a frequent visitor to pho ho I can confidently say it's a consistent winner for delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Their steak pho is truly a highlight. The broth is incredibly flavorful and aromatic, clearly simmered with care to achieve that rich, authentic taste that keeps me coming back. The steak itself is always tender and complements the savory broth perfectly.
Beyond the pho, I highly recommend trying the grilled lemongrass pork chop. It's wonderfully tender, packed with that vibrant lemongrass flavor, and consistently cooked to perfection. And no matter what you order, do yourself a favor and ask for their hot oil. It adds a fantastic, spicy kick that elevates the flavors of any dish without overpowering them. Pho Ho has definitely earned its spot as one of my go-to spots in Lacey!
