I have always enjoyed coming to this Safeway. The staff have always been friendly & very helpful. They also have a great selection of pre-made meals, which are excellent for my lunches.

Where do I start? Horrible unclean bathrooms. Low stock everything. Delayed my pickup order to the point where I just had to take my two under 3 children in there (yes I know I sound like a brat but seriously pick up exists for a reason). Miserable staff who aren't quick in their response time. Like just all around in bed upsetting. I will travel across town to purposely go to a different Safeway after my experience this evening.

My wife really used to appreciate this store. The last several visits have changed her mind. I won't get into the whole digital couponing and ringing things up all wrong of the last visit. Today she was at the check stand and said hello to the checker. No response. There was an associate at the end where the bagger stands. Wife turns to her and says hello while making eye contact. The woman taps her fingers impatiently and huffs and completely ignores my wife. My wife looks at her name tag and notices this is the front end MANAGER! Setting a great example... Not. The checker takes a wad of money out of the til and the manager snatches it and leaves in another huff. The cashier then finally says hello to her. But by then it was like what the?

10:am on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded at all. In and out of there in record time! Produce was fresh and clean. Gift cards were easy to locate and purchase at the register.

To many homeless and always theft. I won’t shop here any more, one camera mast in the parking lot is not enough. Every time I come here there’s some kind of drama happening because of the vagrants.

Happy to see more check stands open. I'm glad that they are hiring people to work at the check outs. Thank you Safeway for helping the community with jobs to help the people that don't want to be homeless. They can be able to support their families.
Don’t order grocery pick up from this store. I showed up a full 15 mins after getting the text saying it is ready and it was not ready at all. After waiting 20 mins, some lady yelled at me for “showing up too early”. When I explained I got a text saying it was ready she said “no you didn’t”. When I showed her the text she said “you don’t understand.”
I’m honesty perplexed as to how crazy this interaction was. Needless to say, I won’t be shopping there again.

Went in to get generic Affrin, there is no option at this store, just the most expensive one. My local Safeway has the option? Other Safeways also have options to choose from. There wasn't a price tag on the shelf to justify if it was sold out. I asked the pharmacist, he said that was it. His priority was shutting down for lunch. I went to Walmart 1 minute away $2.99 The Affrin if I went with Safeway was $10.99 definitely worth going a minute away...

I have shopped at this safeway since moving to Lacey, but in recent months, the quality has gone down noticably. Produce quality is notably degraded, and it's not unusual to find rotten fruit in the fruit bin. Strawberries in particular seem to be a struggle for this location.
Two things really have bothered me and are the last straw on my tolerance: first, the fresh fruit bowls of pre-cut fruit. Finding EXTREMELY moldy strawberries in a pre-made spinach salad (dated as made that same day) tells me that the store doesn't particularly care about the quality they are selling. Second, I bought a cake Monday evening to have for a surprise luncheon. Imagine my surprise in the morning when the boston cream cake I bought turns out to be moldy! Perhaps I should have checked the $17 cake a little more carefully, but I know this didn't happen in just the 12 hours between 7pm and 7 am.
I encourage you to seek another location for any of your fruit, veggie or baked good needs.
