My husband and I stopped by for the first time today. Ice cream is our thing, so we are picky. We were WOWED by the amazing flavors! Fresh banana, yummy root beer float, coconut with coconut chunks and coffee crunch. We sampled some, had two scoops each to eat there and took two pints home. The scoops are big, so take your appetite! The flavors are truly amazing. My husband said the strawberry reminded him of the strawberry ice cream he had as a child. Strawberry that tastes like a strawberry! Highly recommend this place. For people with children, they have a lovely room with toys and room for the kids to play! Also, the staff are friendly and fun!

Very welcoming atmosphere, staff was kind, they let you taste flavors before settling on one and they have so many new delicious flavors!

Big no for us.

From the get go it wasn’t a good experience. The two young men working the counter seemed to need more help/training. We ordered a single scoop on a waffle cone and a malt - no special customizations on either. The waffle cone got broken up because the guy didn’t know how to use the scoop apparently and the malt was just bad… it was soooo thin and had nearly none of the classic malty taste.

And the venue is a little off. Like there’s a children’s playground built inside, but it’s janky. Yet table space was lacking.

Given there are other better places to get quality ice cream in Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater, we’ll take the extra 5 minutes to drive elsewhere next time.

As someone who struggles to find yummy options for Dairy-Free that aren’t sherbets. Sunshine Scoop Ice Cream has THE BEST options. I’ve never felt more included when going out for ice cream. Their Dairy flavors are AMAZING too. Definitely love getting some Togo to save for movie nights!

Me and my children absolutely love this place! We are a non-dairy family and I love that there are non dairy options of icecream. The owner is super nice and personable and the staff is friendly. There are board games and a foosball table and a well spaced fenced in Space for the littles to play. We go back here a lot.

Kid-friendliness: My kids absolutely love it here. Such a great atmosphere. Lots of toys to play with and they have non dairy options which I’m hoping will expand.

The icecream is amazing and the servers are always cordial and informative. This is definitely a family spot with a play area for smaller kids if you're looking for a fun little sit down with the kids. Always happy to eat some Sunshine!

Great place allergy aware and friendly staff. I don’t have little kids but they did have a play area and games. No corn syrup, dairy free options, and cone that are gf!
