This is a really cool local brewery with super friendly staff and a chill atmosphere. I was excited to try their non-alcoholic hop water and hard seltzer (not much of a beer drinker but my husband has tried several and enjoyed them). Both the hop water and seltzer are unflavored and you can choose between a few regular or zero sugar syrups to add in. It's great to have that choice, but the resulting flavor is a bit disappointing - it just ends up tasting like artificial flavoring. But I'm glad to have the option and of course beer is their number one product and the reason why most people visit.
Good beer, fun space, and most important...Luke is an awesome bartender.
It is always a pleasure to be able to spend a few hours @ Top Rung! weekends aren't complete unless you get to stop by- recommend it to any beer lover's!!!!

Our local go-to brewery! While it is the only one north of I-5 in Lacey for the multiple neighborhoods, we would come here from pretty much anywhere. The bartenders are all extremely personable and polite, beers are rotating with some staples always on tap. They have pizzas for food options everyday along with food trucks most weekends. They also feature live music sometimes, trivia nights, host events, and have an outdoor area out back with corn hole and additional seating. The front patio has fire pits and cover from the elements for more outdoor seating. Highly recommend, we come here all the time, can’t believe I have neglected to review this spot for so long, thought I had already done so months ago! Make a point to check out this local Lacey brewery, it’s awesome!

You want a solid offering then swing in and try top rung. Extremely friendly staff and brew master. Do yourself a favor and give it a go if you're in the area.
So my wife and I have been going here for 8 years. These people are like family to us. It's great to have a place like this to hang out, have amazing and affordable beers.
