Drinks on the pricey end. Had a Mannys that was flat and not refreshing. Wife had Tortellini Valdostana good cream sauce and flavorful. I had the Terra D Mare which was flavorful and had a little good heat to it. Wish there was some kind of bread service to kick of entrees or use to smear the good sauces.

We celebrated my husband's 85th birthday in the private dining
area at Al Lago recently, and what a perfect place it is for any
special occasion !!! The food was perfect and enough for our
26 family members to take leftovers home. Katie is extraordinary in orchestrating any occasion to be remembered.
We have eaten at Al Lago many times for the last 20 years and
always have positive things to say about the food, service, and
atmosphere....

If you go here excepting a 3/4 star experience, then you will leave feeling like it was 5 stars, and maybe vis-versa. It seems like a place where a woman who is on the prowl would go on a Friday night to try to catch a partner. A truly nice restaurant, but not crazy fancy or pretentious.
