CLOSED at least temporarily... I called July 11
So, it’s our first time in Langley ad we did not know that there would be no options to get dinner past 8 pm. As we were walking home, we saw that someone was in Luso, so we went in, and we were not only greeted with kindness ( they were technically closed). But Fatima welcomed us in despite it being after hours! She whipped up a delicious dinner of fresh bread and Portuguese meatballs in a matter of moments!!! Our family was amaZed by her hospitality and kindness! It’s the best meal we’ve had! It was a lovely evening that we won’t soon forget!! Thank you! We highly recommend Luso!
It is wonderful to see a local Portuguese option with a variety of specialty food!
Luso at Langley, is a new addition to downtown Langley! From the same owner that brought you Luso in Seattle, Fatima is back providing a great local selection of portuguese goods for us! She has wine, tuna, Piri piri sauce, linguicia, and chorizo all from portugal! We are stocked up and ready for the winter!Right now she is mostly doing retail, but she plans to serve tapas and wines in her cozy spot near the water.
I personally invest my time in choosing fresh and good quality ingredients to prepare and serve delicious and healthy meals.
First time here, definitely not the last. The food was perfect, dessert was exquisite, the wine list offered so many options, the environment was welcoming, leisurely... the guitar player was the perfect touch. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
La comida del menú es deliciosa y para las ocasiones especiales la variedad es deliciosa, son manjares altamente recomendables!
Our host, Fatima, warmly greeted us in Portuguese and sat our group on a long table in the cozy dining area. The Portuguese wines she recommended were superb and the Cabriz was delectable with our chorizo! Sautéed potatoes and herbs went well with the spicy shrimp. Even the soup had some chorizo! Nice ambiance and attentive service. We’re returning soon for more authentic goodness!
