Took ~10+ minutes to get seated even though plenty of seating was available. Once seated, we noticed plenty of flies flying around. We waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our order before deciding to leave (still hadn't even had our drink order taken at that point). The only positive somewhat positive was that someone brought us waters roughly 10 minutes after seating.

Place wasn't even that busy, staff just seemed to look down and avoid?

Food, Service and Atmosphere were all on point! Completely enjoyable! Stopped in do share dinner with the hubby and enjoy a little drink. Loved the risotto with locally caught king salmon! We will be back!

We went here on Monday, June 2nd. Wanted to go to a special place for my wife's birthday and we were visiting Langley for a few days.

We had a reservation for 7 but after realizing most of the stores downtown closed at 5 we asked if we could be seated earlier. Luckily it was a pretty slow evening so they were able to get us in sooner.

We had requested a patio table and when the host took us to one near the door to the interior we asked if we could get the corner table at the far back side. (There was a very vocal group of six or so seated near the table they were going to put as at.) The host said no but the manager that night told him to go ahead and give us the corner table. I will say that probably changed our whole outcome being able to sit in the quieter corner with probably the best views from the patio.

We split the beet salad which had a really light but delicious dressing. The blue cheese and beets went really well together and the butter lettuce was really fresh tasting.

Entrees were the ribeye steak frites for me and the trout for my wife. Both plates of food were excellent. I ordered my steak on the rare side of medium. It had a red interior and nearly melted in my mouth. So, so good!

Our waiter suggested I have a glass of red wine to go with my steak and I ordered the local grown Syrah. Ended up being a great pairing. I got the chocolate mousse tort for dessert to go.

Overall a great experience with super friendly staff and some very tasty food.

The server needed to grow a personality. He didn't introduce himself or even thank us for dining with them. The mixed green salad was uninspired. The oyster fry was over salted. It was a lack luster, over priced experience.

Lovely day on the patio for lunch. My fish with capers and brown butter was completely satisfying. The waitress was efficient and personable.

Overall pretty pricy for the food portion and taste; great atmosphere and view though. The deep fried fish and chips was crispy but a little bland - would be great with just a little more salt. The pan fried fish was actually soaked in oil and was quite greasy. The cocktail we got was so pretty and tasty too. We enjoyed both of the desserts we got.

We went to Prima Bistro for lunch after a mushroom hunting tour with Whidbey Wild Mushrooms, so we had worked up an appetite. We had a hard time narrowing down a reasonable number of small plates to get for our group because everything looked so good! Lots of French standards like a delicious duck confit with local touches- the Penn Cove clams and chorizo was outrageously good! I also loved the calamari which was made with rice and chickpea flour, and the beet salad. I would definitely return here next time I am on Whidbey!

Decent drinks. Medium burger surprisingly rare. Waiter overtly misgendered an entire group multiple times, drawing looks from other serving staff and patrons. He got his wish I guess, I won't be going back.

Went here with friends one evening last week to enjoy one of the last days of summer on the deck. We had a reservation. We enjoyed the risotto and mussels with frites and a lovely bottle of wine. The patio was heated, the view was good and the service attentive and friendly. Would recommend and return.

So disappointed to find this restaurant had replaced Bol but gave it a try. Food was okay but nothing exceptional and fairly bland. Service was excellent and drinks were good so might be worth a second shot. Parking is a nightmare.

Visiting town and had a great lunch here. Rockfish fish and chips were some of the best I have ever had. Outside deck dining provided great Waterview.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Primo. We went to Langley for the afternoon with some friends and stopped into Primo because of their outside patio seating overlooking the water. The wine menu is amazing and fairly priced for such good bottles of wine. We ordered a bottle and some apps while enjoying the weather and the view. We also ordered entrees not long after, and before they arrived, our waiter apologized for the “longer wait” although we hadn’t noticed it at all. The entrees came and were incredible! I can’t recommend the Duck bacon BLT enough! After the waiters apology for wait times, the manager actually came to our table and said the same! She also offered us free dessert for the trouble and took a few drinks off the bill as well! We were incredibly happy with the service as it was but that just put it over the top. Desserts were just as awesome and I recommend the lemon tart with a scoop of their homemade blackberry ice cream. We will be returning for sure!!
