A wonderful place in the Heart of Langley. With great views, great food, and wonderful service. We liked it so much we came back two nights in a row. I wish we had something like this on Bainbridge Island where we live.

Prima Bistro in Langley offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with a menu that shows promise but leaves room for refinement. The appetizers were the highlight of the evening. The herb-buttered escargot was rich and flavorful, and the sardines carried a nice balance of freshness and depth. That said, the portions felt modest for the price point, leaving us wishing for just a bit more. The entrées, while thoughtfully presented, lacked the finishing touches that elevate a good dish into a great one. My risotto had the right texture and creaminess but leaned too salty for my taste. I added wild king salmon as a protein, but unfortunately, the first filet was overcooked and dry. To the server’s credit, a replacement filet was brought out promptly, though it was undercooked and mostly raw. The Nectarine Cobbler ended the meal on a sweeter note, the fruit was deliciously warm and spiced, though the ice cream pairing fell short with a slightly icy texture instead of the creaminess expected. What truly stood out was the service. Jen, our waitress, was gracious, patient, and exceptionally attentive. She answered our questions thoroughly and worked hard to ensure we felt cared for, which elevated the overall dining experience.

Sat at the bar on a busy night of service. Staff was friendly, just very busy. Took a bit to get a dinner order in but the atmosphere was really enjoyable. It was busy, but calm. We had the Hanger steak frites which were absolutely delicious!.

This place is the go to for amazing gourmet bistro food leaning very French but also great burgers and small plates to share including rotating cheese options. The staff is like family and the bar the perfect place to hang with a wide variety of wine, beer, and cocktail specials.

MUST VISIT: Prima Bistro is a must visit when visiting Whidbey Island. The staff are kind and professional, the atmosphere/view is stunning, and the food is absolutely delicious. While visiting the island, I made it a point to return to Prima Bistro a few times. I personally loved their Beet Salad & 🐌 Escargot. I could’ve eaten my weight in both! The salad has these lovely glazed walnuts that elevate the salad. And the Escargot are served in a herb and what tasted like garlic butter. And while I don’t typically eat, escargot, prima bistro has turned me onto them now/made me a fan!

What a great place. The vibe was very relaxed and the food was great, but the service was the highlight of our dinner here. Syah was our server and Maya also helped make it dinner really special. They listened to our preferences, answer or questions, and suggested just the perfect dishes. I had the king salmon, which Syah set aside while we decided the rest. My wife had the trout, which she loved. The prices seemed very reasonable for these dishes, and getting to watch over the waterway as we ate made it very special. Thank you Syah and Maya!

Best place in town. Reserve upfront to get a seat on the deck. Come for lunch and enjoy the sea view. Don't expect great sea food though, for that go next door.
We went on a Wednesday evening and were seated quickly. It then took more than a half hour to get drinks, and another hour for food. Steak was overcooked and dry, and the burger was gray and mushy - Burger King quality. The interior is shabby-chic, minus the chic, and cacophonously loud. We were treated to our server and another employee swearing at each other while arguing about his tips.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. First, we walked in hoping to get a table for five over an hour before closing time and were told it would be a wait by the hostess. We patiently waited, and 15 minutes later, we were texted that there would be no hope of us being seated for our birthday celebration. We were told there would be a 30-minute wait, and after being sent a confirmation of our reservation, we were texted that it was cancelled. With everything in the area closing in 30 minutes and no availability, we were left with no dining options for our one-night trip. We walked into the restaurant hoping to still be seated, and after pleading for a table and being met with rude remarks and an unwelcoming attitude from the hostess, they finally seated us. In addition, there were multiple unoccupied tables. The atmosphere made us feel extremely uncomfortable and like a burden. As we walked past individuals working at the restaurant, we were met with glares and not a single smile. The only positive aspect of this dining experience was our server. In addition, it was a letdown after paying $16 for calamari, and the plate was not even remotely complete. To say the least, if you want to be met with a rude hostess and incomplete food, this is the place.
