Overall pretty pricy for the food portion and taste; great atmosphere and view though. The deep fried fish and chips was crispy but a little bland - would be great with just a little more salt. The pan fried fish was actually soaked in oil and was quite greasy. The cocktail we got was so pretty and tasty too. We enjoyed both of the desserts we got.

We went to Prima Bistro for lunch after a mushroom hunting tour with Whidbey Wild Mushrooms, so we had worked up an appetite. We had a hard time narrowing down a reasonable number of small plates to get for our group because everything looked so good! Lots of French standards like a delicious duck confit with local touches- the Penn Cove clams and chorizo was outrageously good! I also loved the calamari which was made with rice and chickpea flour, and the beet salad. I would definitely return here next time I am on Whidbey!

Decent drinks. Medium burger surprisingly rare. Waiter overtly misgendered an entire group multiple times, drawing looks from other serving staff and patrons. He got his wish I guess, I won't be going back.

Went here with friends one evening last week to enjoy one of the last days of summer on the deck. We had a reservation. We enjoyed the risotto and mussels with frites and a lovely bottle of wine. The patio was heated, the view was good and the service attentive and friendly. Would recommend and return.

So disappointed to find this restaurant had replaced Bol but gave it a try. Food was okay but nothing exceptional and fairly bland. Service was excellent and drinks were good so might be worth a second shot. Parking is a nightmare.

Visiting town and had a great lunch here. Rockfish fish and chips were some of the best I have ever had. Outside deck dining provided great Waterview.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Primo. We went to Langley for the afternoon with some friends and stopped into Primo because of their outside patio seating overlooking the water. The wine menu is amazing and fairly priced for such good bottles of wine. We ordered a bottle and some apps while enjoying the weather and the view. We also ordered entrees not long after, and before they arrived, our waiter apologized for the “longer wait” although we hadn’t noticed it at all. The entrees came and were incredible! I can’t recommend the Duck bacon BLT enough! After the waiters apology for wait times, the manager actually came to our table and said the same! She also offered us free dessert for the trouble and took a few drinks off the bill as well! We were incredibly happy with the service as it was but that just put it over the top. Desserts were just as awesome and I recommend the lemon tart with a scoop of their homemade blackberry ice cream. We will be returning for sure!!

we made an online reservation and they tried very hard to give us a very good patio table with the seaview (and during the wait, we were also offered other less desirable choices but we were happy to stroll around the main s
treet shops and the waterfront and they did keep sending us phones messages to update us on the table situation). The ladies at check in were really nice.
There was the fire to warm us up even it was getting cool later at night when our dinner really started so it was still very comfy to sit outdoors. Our cheerful waitress Bailey was also very informative about the food and also offered some travel info although she was very busy herself.
The sunsetting view was magnificent. We shared appetisers (calamaris were a bit bland but still juicy....the salad was good and fresh )We had the fish which was not bad (the sauce was actually pretty good.) The mussles actually tasted very fresh (but unfortunately cold, perhaps because the mussles had to wait till the other dishes were ready too....we were told the chicken would take about 20 min) so I had to return for re-heating.....we did hesitate thinking they would return dry after the re-heating but the chef must be very skillful ....they were delicious!!! (Although not everyone liked the thin fries, we all loved the sauce, and finished it all!!) The chicken was the best of all.....so juicy that we forgot we were there for seafood!!! We had wanted to try the clams too but were told they were sold out quick!!
Last but not least, Bailey offered a choice of 4 or 5 desserts for our kid's birthday and it was on the house!! This restaurant is very busy so better make reservations on line

1 hour after ordering before we were served.
Food was bland and awful.
Fish was dry. Fries were tepid and pale. Green salad was well green. Nothing else. Additional chicken tasted refrigerated and old. Ridiculous.
Never again

Very accommodating on a busy night with no reservations. The service and food were excellent. Sea bass was the special and we had mussels and a beer salad. Great flavors. Highly recommend.
