Excellent food and great service. Intimate atmosphere with beautiful views. Definitely a nice special occasion place. But as many have mentioned tiny, like ridiculously tiny portions and very expensive.
Tried eating here but was turned away because we had a dog despite it saying that dogs were allowed in the outside area and he is a service animal.
Not giving 1 star since I think that would be unfair since I didn’t try the restaurant.
I understand not all restaurants have to be dog friendly but it would be great if they were more clear with their policies.
Fine dining restaurant that has great food and service but is ABSURDLY priced. Food is freshly made and full of flavor. Service is great, though we went when it we nearly empty. But, the prices are ridiculous like $13 for bread!! We don't mind paying for great vegetarian food, but this place was over the top.
High prices for tiny helpings. $17 for about 2 oz of mushroom pâtée and the tiny bread offering was sold separately. Nice staff and atmosphere but I wouldn't eat there again.
I made a reservation a month prior for a Tuesday chef's choice meal and asked if a dairy allergy would be an issue. I was told it would be fine, but on the day they weren't able to accommodate it. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were kind and apologetic, but I chose Savory to celebrate an engagement and the last minute change of plans was disappointing.
We had the prefix meal offered on Tuesdays. All of the dishes were excellent, but the mushroom Pappardelle was my favorite! We had a private dining experience, because the reservation after us was a no show. Very rude.
We had a lovely experience. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Langley.
Too expensive for what you get in my opinion. We got the $38 bread spread that came with two different breads and three different dips. The only thing that came hot was the one fried bread which is not what I expected and you didn’t get much food for a $38 spread of food. The dips were okay but nothing to write home about. We also got the “shareable” mushroom pappardelle as a second “main” course. It tasted okay but again, not a whole lot there for what you pay for. We left a bit hungry. So it’s so-so food at a high price while you listen to the staff talk about how airsoft is like paintball.
Upscale in Bohemia. It is an oddity that you can have a fine dining restaurant where all the clientele feel comfortable down dressing almost to absurdity. But, that seems the norm for this restaurant. The service is attentive, prompt, and provides a curated experience for their customers. It is a small and shareable portions type.of place and strangely enough you still walk away full. The food is differtiated by adding so.e middle eastern spice to time tested favorites - and it does seem to work very well. The food is exceptional. Now, one thing to note is even if you are early, they seem to run out of items on the menu - so if you are a pescatarian you may not have the option of any fish dishes available when you order. The restaurant is cozy, and could be easily considered romantic. Seating on 23 patrons you will not feel crowded or rushed. It is my second time dining at this establishment over the last 3 years and though the ownership has changed the quality and spirit of accessible upscale dining has not. Well done.
Just had an AMAZING dinner at Savory! The red pepper spread was great along with the Black Cod and Crab Noodle dishes. Atmosphere and view were awesome!

Outstanding. Very little place, it maybe tricky to find a spot. The food is excellent, diverse, balanced, something new!. It is really remarkable the original dishes with seasonal ingredients. Nothing was over spiced, one can really appreciate the natural flavors of the ingredients. Service is spot on, we were impressed how well they manage without a large staff. Solid wine list. We will come back for sure.
Vegetarian options: Cauliflower, carrots, squash… the best of fall season

What a great find for our date night. It was sunset and they had room in the inviting small 5-7 table restaurant. This high end restaurant was chic and comfortable. The taste I keep remembering is the mushroom toast with salted plum. The menu is inspired and the service even better.

Fabulous waterfront restaurant in Langley on Whidbey Island.
I was visiting from out of town and my friend recommended this place. It did not disappoint!!
My server, Angel, true to her namesake, was an absolute professional, very knowledgeable, and really made the experience welcoming and fun. I took her recommendations and everything was out of this world- the scallops, mushrooms, and sparkling rose were my favorite.
Comfortable seating, beautiful views, and a relaxing, yet upscale experience. Absolutely recommend.
Wish I’d saved room for dessert or taken it to go. Will be back for sure!
***Only one note for the chef- a little heavy on the dill, would have liked to explore other herbs.

I love everything about Savory. The shared small plate concept works out deliciously.

Great atmosphere, food was not worth the price. Small portions for a large price, decent taste but sadly I would not recommend........... Great service and friendly staff.
