The staff is amazing! The name is confusing. They do use doughnut bread on some items and have doughnuts available but it's much more than that. They have eggs Benedict on Sundays and homemade hash. I love the sandwiches and salads. Chop salad is my favorite.
Terrific small cozy restaurant. Great for lovers , couples, kids, teens, families , friends. Wonderful owner and staff. Great food. Tons of parking. Art Gallery next door and lots of fun arty shops.

Disappointed at what happened today. My wife and son and I arrived about 1 p.m. There were several empty tables and booths. The greeter/waitress led us to a booth and we sat down. Then she immediately came back and said we had to move, because a group of five was walking down the path to the restaurant.Huh?Our mistake was to be kind enough to not question that and move to the very small booth she pointed us to.I've worked in the restaurant business and we eat in restaurants all over the world. We have never been asked to give up our table for someone else once we've been seated and I've never heard of any customers moved after they've been seated for another group. We decided to just leave. It slowly sunk in that we had been treated badly. We left, but then I returned to explain calmly to the waitress the reason we were leaving. She argued with me that it was okay to move us for a group that was two people larger. There isn't a reservation policy at Whidbey Doughnuts. We were there first. I understand you want to seat as many customers as possible and make the most money you can, but there were other tables available they easily could have moved this group to. We've never heard of anyone moving a group who was seated first to make way for a slightly larger group. That was a mistake. You make your money in the restaurant business by treating your customers fairly and ensuring repeat business. My family eats at Whidbey Doughnut maybe twice a month. My wife meets her friends there and eats there every week.We are considering never going back.

I have been going to WHIDBEY DONUTS for years. I am addicted to their Apple Fritters. I felt the quality went down for awhile but it has really come back. The last couple times their old Fritters are back. Oh so good. The avocado toast is also great. Their employees are always so welcoming. I hope you will all enjoy their foot.

Yummy food, fantastic service! The bread pudding is so delicious!
Some doughnuts were great, some just Ok(like maple bars were too stodgy). Brunch was good. Enjoyed our time. Decent but nothing too special.

this place was so great to eat at. 10/10 would recommend. the breakfast options were phenomenal. the eggs and bacon cooked to absolute perfection and i couldn’t ask for a better breakfast. my friend got the french toast and shared a couple bites with me and it made me sad i didn’t get the french toast. all though my sandwich was to die for the french toast matched it just as well. great service great everything.

OK, the meals were fine and the wait people were nice, but if you're looking for some place quiet, this is definitely not it. I don't know how people can work there all day. Granted, there was a group of kids in there who did not know how to use their inside voice and obviously did not know it's not OK to scream inside a restaurant. They were old enough to have been taught this. So come in during a less busy time and it will probably be fine.On a more positive note, very cute paintings on the walls, right next to the farmer's market and other cute businesses.

I came here with some loved ones who live locally. There are very limited options and the food was edible, but waaayyyyy overpriced. I ordered the omelette and there was little to no flavor/seasoning to the food and came out semi-cold. It was definitely not worth $18. We ordered two orders of omelettes, one order of the 2 eggs to order, and one person had a mimosa, but otherwise had water, it came out to over $70. In addition, our waitress was less than pleased to be serving us and was borderline rude while interacting with us. It’s not worth it… the island has other (much better) options.
