We’re simple people who like great tasting simple food. I had the chicken sandwich (cheese & bacon added) and my husband had the cheeseburger, both came with a lot of fries. Our sandwiches were delicious! The chicken wasn’t the typical chewy cheap breast served almost everywhere - it was juicy and had great flavor. Waitresses were prompt, attentive, and friendly.

Came here during the summer. It’s a roomy brick beer house. Very kid friendly and has a kids menu. I’ll be honest I came here for my husband as I am not a big German food person. But the Rouladen was excellent. I had the charbroiled chicken which was not German but pretty good. They had a call in that day and we were still treated well.

Servers were great!! Food was okay, not great but not terrible. Unfortunately though we didn't even really get the chance to eat. This place is covered in flies. If they weren't on our food, they were all over our arms and face. Honestly maybe the food would have been better but I think all the flies ruined our appetites. The servers all seemed very kind but I just wonder if the dining room has that many flies what does the kitchen look like?

It was dark and stuffy, no ac and we were wondering if the waitress was drunk. Accidents happen but she dumped soda on my plate and me. Ran into tables more than a couple times, not good for a big group

Our server, Alicia W., was super friendly and helpful. She offered really helpful menu recommendations and the service here was great.
Arrived later in the evening and noticed a lot of the food areas closed down by this time since everything is closed by 5pm. These guys were still open. Immediately upon walking in you notice the humidity in the building and the broken AC's. Once we were seated the amount of flies in the building were also concerning, probably from the back door being open because the workers in the back are suffering even more than the guests due to the lack of air circulation. This immediately made me concerned for the food quality happening in the kitchen.
The service was fantastic and never had any issues with this during our time there.
Food was very subpar at best. I don't know if it was due to the later hours after I'm sure hundreds of guests came through but the food just had little flavor. We tried the Jaeger schnitzel and immediately noticed the breading wasn't staying on the meat at all and was falling off. The gravy has little to no flavor, neither did the breading. The red cabbage was fine as well as the sauerkraut. The bread served at the table was quite dry but the butter made up for it. The beer was fantastic so no complaints there. The food just felt like it lost the love it so much needs about as much as the building itself. Wasn't a horrible experience but definitely could be much better.
