This place was like walking into heaven after being bombarded with loud live music from every other restaurant in Leavenworth. We didn’t know what to expect but found ourselves in a peaceful atmosphere with absolutely delicious food (for a better price than most) and service that was top tier! (Didn’t get his name, maybe a Chris?) I call him the espresso-tini whisperer! Highly recommend!
Good is so fresh and amazing♡ great friendly service too!
Excellent gourmet food, had a mushroom burger, best ever had. Our waiter was the excellent. Loved the ambience, very relaxing. German chocolate cake ... yum! Thank you Team Colchuck's.
ColdChucks Restaurant – Leavenworth, WA
Rating: 5.0
We had an amazing Mother’s Day meal at ColdChucks in Leavenworth! The restaurant was clean, the service was fast, and the staff were incredibly courteous. A special shoutout to our server, Olivia (aka “Live”), who truly went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome—she made the meal memorable for all of us.
Our daughter ordered the chicken strips, which came free with a meal—a nice bonus. The pretzel bites were a hit with the table, served with a rich IPA cheese sauce and a flavorful stone ground honey mustard.
The harvest salad was fresh and beautifully balanced with the dijon beet vinaigrette, roasted seasonal veggies, and crispy garbanzos—great flavor and texture in every bite.
The cheeseburger (8oz Kobe beef) was cooked medium and topped with smoked cheddar and truffle aioli—absolutely delicious. We added an egg for the perfect upgrade.
The Chuck’s Reuben was stacked with house-sliced corned beef and packed with flavor, and the Jagerschnitzel stole the show with breaded pork, a rich veal demi-glace, marinated mushrooms, and pickled shallots.
Every dish we ordered was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Leavenworth!
The servers were friendly and fun to talk to, and it seemed like a very nice place to come for dinner (we had takeout - we were staying about 5 minutes away). Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our food from Colchuck's. For the price, we expected much, much better. The Wienerschnitzel (breaded veal over greens) was overcooked and tough. The side of Spaetzle was not well seasoned. The Bamb Burger (beef and lamb) was dry and bland - even with the very moist roasted cherry tomatoes in it. However - the Truffle Fries and the Harvest Salad WERE GOOD! We will pay more attention to the price of dishes here in the future, and will pay more attention to the reviews.
Lamb hamburger was just ok. Tomato confit was not very good. Schnitzel was really tough.
I'm so glad I found this place!
I was on a mission to find a good Wiener schnitzel and not every restaurant in Leavenworth has it (most places only serve chicken or pork schnitzel), and I was thrilled to see it on the menu at Colchuck's. Unfortunately, I am lactose intolerant and their schnitzels contain milk ingredients, so our server, Chris M, recommended a Niçoise salad instead, and it was an even better choice - the salad was fabulous. Knowing about my dietary restriction, Chris also went above and beyond in making sure that the salad dressing was the non-dairy vinaigrette, and provided details about the dessert options that could be suitable for me (which included listing other places in the area that might offer dairy-free desserts).
I had the most amazing experience at Colchuck's and can't wait to go back!
Bald server with a mustache was clearly overwhelmed and took it out on our table. Denied us service and a meal we were looking forward to.
Really nice experience! Really good food (large portions), great service, enjoyable atmosphere. Thanks, Dr Robert & Debbie Burns
Just bland food. Sorry but burgers are $20+ and no flavor. I try calling to place to go orders and they never pick up. I only ate there because they were part of dining rewards programs, which they don’t seem to be anymore.

Bavarian menu. Creative cocktails. Gorgeous wood and soft lighting throughout the interior. Seating is a mix of comfortable padded half booths with hard backed chairs. Awesome staff and owners. We split the sausage and cheese sampler. It was pretty busy when we got there, but no wait to be seated. We were so comfortable we didn't realize we were the last to leave until I stopped to take pictures on our way out.
Parking: It was $40 per full day of parking in Leavenworth. We've visited many times so only paid $13 for 3 hours and ambled around town for a while before we had dinner at Colchucks.
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is up several flights of stairs. We did not see an elevator.

Stopped in for lunch. We had the cured salmon sandwich and Jaeger schnitzel. Both were good. Staff were friendly. Nice place for lunch!

We ate here Saturday night, we made reservations so we got our table pretty quick. But after that it went down hill. We were told that happy hour we still had 10 minutes but we our waitress didn't come over until it was over to bring us water. I ordered the ruben and my wife ordered the schnitzel. The ruben was soggy and fries I ordered was cold the wife's schnitzel was soggy from all the cooked arugula. All this cost almost 100 dollars. With drinks. We had to wait for the waitress to collect our bill so we went up front to pay. Lots of other places in town to choose from I would suggest one of those, for quality and service.

Great spot to stop for an evening beverage. Much nicer spot to stop than Stein (just below it). Food is okay. Our meal wasn't horrible, but also not much to write home about. The pork schnitzel was well cooked, but the gravey was quite salty, almost like pre-made gravey. The spatzel appetizer had soo much cheese it was almost inedible, and the caramelized onions had way too much sugar. A combination that had us fishing out the spatzel and avoiding the other toppings (and we LOVE cheese)!
Stop in for a beverage, but I would suggest having dinner elsewhere!
