Gustav's Reviews
I am deeply disturbed after reading the experience of a friend and colleague's time at Gustav's. They were sorely mistreated and offered subpar service. They had a large party, so expected that some things would not be prepared well. However, time and time again, the preparation was off for several of them, to include a rock in one's burger.

I’m very disappointed to share the management at this establishment does not possess the leadership skills to be able to acknowledge customer feedback and simply learn from it and move on and be grateful they got the feedback so they can take the opportunity to improve. Instead they reacted with such disproportionate temper revealing themselves to be racist and discriminatory. Would not recommend any person support this establishment.
Gustav's is just the best. Friendly, good food, good beer if you are into that (which I'm not) and great prices in good upscale house wine - THAT I am into. Absolutely the best Reuben on the planet.

Gustav's, located in Leavenworth, offers a variety of dishes, from burgers to vegetarian options. The bratwurst burger, schnitzel burger, and bison burger are among the popular choices. The garlic cheese curds are highly recommended, and the menu includes vegetarian burgers with fresh patties. The fries are either house-cut or made to replicate the old-fashioned type, served with a good, classic dill tartar sauce.
Gustav's is a long-time favorite, with choices not available in most Leavenworth restaurants. The portions are generous, and the friendly staff provides attentive service. The restaurant does well with sauerkraut and pickles, incorporating them into the dishes in a way that even those who usually dislike them may enjoy.
Customers have praised the Garden Ortega Burger, which features a nicely grilled black bean patty, Monterey Jack cheese, fresh veggies, and salsa. The restaurant accommodates special requests, making it a great option for vegetarians. The staff is noted for being helpful and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. When the weather is good, the upstairs deck is the place to be, providing a lovely setting for enjoying meals like the bison burger, which pairs well with refreshing drinks like lavender cider. Overall, Gustav's offers a great dining experience with delicious food and attentive service, making it a must-visit for anyone in Leavenworth.
