Older gentleman was very rude after I asked a question about the wine tasting fee. Kestrel has been my favorite winery for years, today I walked out without buying anything even though I went in with the intent to buy a bottle. I'm very sad that my favorite winery treated me so awful.
đ The lemon wine slushy was phenomenal and really made a trip to Leavenworth special. Highly recommend! đ
We came here for the $20/day parking. We decided to stay for the wine tasting before experiencing Leavenworth for the first time. 10/10 experience!! The owner is the absolute kindest, warm, and inviting person. Lots of knowledge about what we were drinking and the process about the vineyard back in Italy. My friend and I tried the bubbles taster while my husband did the wine. We tried just about all of them together and they were all so good. We happened to stumble upon this place by accident but now, itâs a must do!
Rude service
Extremely rude older gentleman. I will never recommend this as a tasting room to go to ever again because of the rudeness of said gentlemen. There are much better tasting rooms and vineyard around Leavenworth. After reading other reviews of the place and when there's any critique or negative criticism it seems a manager just likes to confront and tell people they're liars based on his responses to their reviews so probably not a great place to go with that kind of attitude
The man that was working there was very unpleasant. Much better wineries in town with delightful people.
Owner us so genuine, takes time to explain his wines and his passion for it
Visited Leavenworth, bought a case of wine.
Very disappointed! We have gone to Kestrel for years and have always had a great experience. We recently visited the Leavenworth tasting room where one other couple was present. The gentleman running the tasting room said he wasnât doing tastings on a Saturday afternoon on account of being the only one on staff. Yet had plenty of time to sit behind the bar drinking himself. They had a $40 case sale for a variety of whites. At checkout he said it could only be one kind and no mix and match, which is not what we have experienced in the past when purchasing during a case sale.Overall he was very inattentive and I am left questioning whether I should come back for future visits after this recent experience which is unfortunate considering my situation past experiences had always been positive.
By far the biggest joke of a tasting weâve ever been to. The pours werenât even just small, they were basically a dribble. Itâs almost like they were trying to see how little they could pour out of a bottle and the guy couldnât wait for us to leave the minute we walked in. The wine was just OK, but thats fine and just personal taste. But paying $20 a tasting for like 4 drops of wine is weird.

We had a great time at the new location and parking was easy in their parking lot.
Love this winery but tried to stop on Sunday when they are supposed to be open and they weren't. No house posted on the door either.
We love Kestrel Wines, but very disappointed with the tasting room not being opened when the posted hours say it should be. We waited around in Leavenworth to buy more cases during the case sale, but no one showed up to open the Tasting room. Definitely disappointed.
Great selection of very good wine! The owner Martino was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about his wines. Probably our best tasting experience here in Leavenworth.
A nice wine testing room located off the busiest streets of Leavenworth, which makes it easy to find parking. We loved the wines, which are made in Italian style. Definitely do the five wines tasting in order to find the ones you like the most. And check out the prices for cases - they were really great when we were there.
