O'Grady's Pantry at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort

Absolutely tragic how this great location can be so mismanaged. It has been this way for years, Harriet's passing has changed nothing. Why we keep going back there year after year is beyond me. Marginal overpriced food, horrible service, etc etc, I could tell stories that you wouldn't believe.

Why does my salad taste like butterscotch?

Can we have some utensils for our soup and salad? Sorry, can't right now, I have something else to do. Guess I can just tip the bowl up to my mouth and eat the salad with my fingers

Can we have some napkins, please? They're over there, get them yourself

Our card reader is not working, cash only. OK, here's some cash. Sorry, we don't have change for a 50, can you just hang out for an hour til we get some?

I realize I'm the moron that keeps going back but in fairness, the experience has been fine about half the time. Is 50% satisfaction and 50% outrage acceptable?

Do something or just close up shop. ggrrrrr.....

I was sad to discover that as of late September, O'Grady's is no longer serving cooked food. They have pre-packaged sandwiches instead.

OverPriced for what you get. Even for the area! In my opinion. But I love the Resort.

Severely understaffed and mediocre food. We arrived at 8am for breakfast to a nearly empty restaurant. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive (after 45 minutes, the server came by and asked, "remind me what you ordered again...?", never a good sign!). The server did seem to be trying her best, but she was barely keeping up with her tables, especially as the place started to fill up. She was the only one serving tables and running the cash register and coffee stand. When the food finally did arrive (we ordered the Sleeping Lady breakfast and the Pancake breakfast), it was at least hot but otherwise extremely bland and unremarkable. Certainly not worth the wait or the money. Skip it.

We were seeking and hoping for a quiet, relaxed, scenic outdoor dining atmosphere, and we were happy and surprised to receive just that on the delightful back patio and more. Plus the service and food was incredible as well. Our server Letitia V. was remarkable and so was the Reuben’s and handcut fries we enjoyed immensely for our lunch. The IPA and Chardonnay was enjoyable as well.
The restaurant is located at Sleeping Lady Resort just a short lovely drive from Leavenworth, WA, with beautiful grounds and walking paths with an organic garden, numerous art works and water fountains throughout.

Food was great. Good menu. Plus some unique options. The beekeepers honey and mustard dip was amazing. Waiter was so nice. Beautiful, comfortable restaurant.

Food is average, since the new chef took over the food it’s pretentious,
He is a complete a…hole to his stuff, leaving one server to care for the whole front of the restaurant and not caring if they can manage, the stuff is great as they try their best but shouldn’t be like that because it’s supposed to be a fancy restaurant (pretentious)
The kitchen is incapable of serving food for big groups, I was told last week that the waiting time for a simple breakfast was 45 because they had 15 people group, I don’t blame the stuff it the stupid chefs pretentious ambition, he probably thinks he’s in New York or in London, this is Leavenworth we like local and simple food

It's not a good sign when the first thing said to you when you walk in is "We're short staffed. It's going to be a long time before you will get your food."

The servers were very nice and courteous. They tried as best as they could, but the understaffing is evident. Sometimes everything is fine, and when the food was good, it was very good. But other times, the food fell very short, like getting toast that was both burnt and cold, or getting a platter missing half of what was advertised on the menu.

But the servers were very nice, improvising and apologizing when their hands were tied. Their menu is greatly reduced from past years, and the prices are higher than comparable places.

Great service given today! I have never been treated so respectfully and wonderful at a restaurant before! Definitely wasn’t expected to be welcomed so beautifully so I definitely will come back soon!

Fernando, the Bartender, and Miranda, the Server, were both so friendly and helpful. When we first got there, we were the only patrons and we felt like and were treated like rock stars! We will definitely go back! I ordered the chicken strips with fries (the fries are the kind with potato skin ~ so delicious!). I also ordered a Lemon Drop... Fernando makes the best Lemon Drop I have ever tasted!My son ordered the cheese pizza ~ it was soo good! My husband ordered the rib-eye, medium, with smashed potatoes and asparagus. I would have posted photos but we ate everything before I could take photos, lol!

I ate here twice with my family in December of last year and I’m still holding a grudge. I’ll give this review the same amount of effort they gave us when we ate there both times. I’ll just say, the service was the worst I have experienced in many years, anywhere. That’s includes McDonald’s.

Beautiful location

Went for breakfast last year and didn't get the bacon I ordered. This year again went for breakfast, bacon and hashbrowns were cold, bacon had no taste. Don't know about lunch or dinner, but definitely stay away if you're looking for a good breakfast.
