Rustic downstairs cafe serving breakfast classics. Delicious gluten free pancakes for the celiacs in our family. Prompt service and great coffee!

Incredible Gluten Free options (for breakfast anyway- as we just had breakfast only.) The owner knows her stuff, they do NOT skimp on food, sides or service, and I will most definitely return! Me? Full-blown celiac and I now trust this place for no cross contamination.

I got the Van Gogh wrap and I got about two bites in and it was gushing out with grease, and it was not very flavorful. The atmosphere and service was great, but the food was unfortunate.

Stopped by for Sunday brunch, and the dining area is so small! It definitely makes you feel claustrophobic and hot when there's only a few tables full. I was not impressed with the food, very bland and underwhelming (American classic breakfast food). Service was just okay. Ordered a mimosa, but the orange juice tasted stale, and the champagne-to-OJ ratio was completely off. I also ordered waffles, which were soggy before I even put any syrup or butter on them. I’d highly recommend saving your money and choosing a spot that better fits the town’s vibe.

Service was quick and the waitress was very nice. We enjoyed every moment! The food was delicious and there were gluten-free options.

Hi Aunt Kim

Was attempting to go eat breakfast at a different spot this particular morning when we were given a 30 minute wait. While we were walking around we happened to find this spot quite by accident! Not only was there no wait, but it was the best breakfast we've had while staying in town. Staff was friendly and quick. Food was delicious and husband was very happy about the option to get mulled wine with his breakfast. Needless to say, we will be coming back!

First time here - EXCELLENT breakfast. Eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary. No wait to get a table on a Sunday morning. Welcoming and friendly staff. I come to Leavenworth often and will come back here.

We came with a party of 7 and 3 babies. It said family friendly so we thought it would be a great option. Once we got down the stairs, we instantly felt judged for having our babies with us. I collapsed my stroller and put it out of the way and when asked to put the car seat off the floor, we were as respectful of the small space as possible. But every single waitress gave us a dirty look or a side eye. Terrible customer service. One even asked, “ so how do even go out with all these babies?” exasperated that we brought our kids?? We only had one menu per table until we asked. We Had to ask for extra napkins and she only handed us one?? And when we asked to split the check she signed as if it were a problem and said, “ let’s see if I can figure that out”. The food was okay, but not great. Very small portions and came out cold. I left hungry as did a few others. We were all utterly dissatisfied. If you’re looking for a good family friendly place to enjoy Leavenworth, this is NOT the place.

Waitress was rude and unwelcoming to kids. Gave us rude looks when one of our groups babies made any sort of noise. Very tight tables. My burrito was extremely soggy on the bottom as was everyone else's in my group. Small portions. Would never go back especially with my kids. There’s plenty of better places to go that are near by.

The server was less than interested in us being there. Steep trek down stairs which may be daunting for some. The food was mediocre at best, with the salmon in my scramble being to strong tasting to be quality. The gluten free pancakes were tasteless and to top it off they charged us a $1.04 surcharge for what reason? We have no idea. Not recommended and will not be going back.

Maybe be a small place but the service, food and atmosphere is worth the trip down the stairs.

Cute little basement cafe, and family friendly which is a bonus, but the food was not good. Both mine and my husbands meals were coooold. Like not even room temperature, but like they had been sitting for a very long time. It was very off putting. I ordered chicken fried steak, and I’m pretty sure it was chicken fried chicken or pork, but definitely not beef. With so many great options in this town, we will likely not be coming back.
