This place is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, so we finally got a chance to stop by this morning. I am so glad that we had the chance. It was worth it.We were greeted by a kind lady who promptly seated us and offered coffee. My kids order waffles with fruit and whipped cream. I got a waffle with eggs and bacon. The waffles were crisp. The food was very delicious. Service was exceptional.

Nothing to complain/dislike about this place. I love everything here! They’re very down to earth, respectful, kind, accommodating! Will go. Back for more when my family of 11 goes back to Leavenworth. Their German sausage was cooked just right, waffles and French toasts were awesome! Nice and fluffy! Right amount of sweetness, crunchiness. Just perfect! Bacon is good!! They didn’t undercook or overcook. My family love what they ordered! Washrooms are located in a hallway. Check out the pics. Will try out their Benne on my next visit

Parking: Don’t think they have parking. Walking is best! Burn calories before eating and after eating!

Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu. Check out the menu in one of the pics

Service was very friendly and very attentive. Food was mediocre at best. Waffles tasted like they were just a grocery store mix. Orange juice and milk had an odd taste to them. Moral: Make friends with the staff, and then go eat somewhere else.

Yummy waffles with a classic diner feel. Great people watching and family style service. The ladies and gentlemen who help at the restaurant are overly friendly, swift with service, and warm and welcoming.

Food was below average. The continental breakfast at our hotel looked better. For a $60 dollar breakfast I was very disappointed in food quality. Hash brows were potato chips pretty much and bacon was dryer than the Sahara. Great service though!!

Went here yesterday for breakfast and my eggs Benedict was runny and delicious as it should be! The hash browns were dang good too. My favorite part was Lynn. She was fun and witty which made breakfast even better!

Small diner with a nice view of town. Food was good but had multiple mistakes when food was brought out. Longer wait than promised but still very reasonable for the busy Saturday morning it was.

Sandy's Waffle & Dinner Haus is officially the worst food I had in 2023!As far as the waffles go, the self-serve waffle station at a cheap motel gets you a better product than you can get here. Sandy's serves the waffles covered in sauce which makes them soggy very quickly, and the whipped cream they use is obviously out of a can, so it's extra watery and that goes right into the waffle as well. There's something that's just really wrong with the color of the waffles coming out of that kitchen as well, which are a strange gray/brown shade. Sandy's could improve by serving the toppings separately, using fruit instead of preserves, and definitely making their own whipped cream (which costs a LOT less than the canned stuff).I had the misfortune of ordering the sausage breakfast burrito, and the sausage had funky and possibly rotten taste and odor to it. I should not have eaten as much of it as I did.Lastly the coffee definitely comes out of a giant can and just completely missed the mark. Raise the price of the coffee by a buck or two and buy something decent. Your customers expect this...Having eaten here, I now totally understand why the line at Starbucks across the street was super long and we were one of the two tables eating at Sandy's on a Sunday morning. We'll also be in the Starbucks line next time we go to Leavenworth.

Great service! We came around 10:15am, & got a table immediately with no wait. We ordered the French toast with German sausage, & the biscuits & gravy with country sausage. The gravy was a little watery & bland, but the biscuits were good. Our favorite was definitely the German Sausage. Very delicious.Great place to grab a quick bite to eat & next to everything. Reasonably priced as well !
