Title says it all. I went here last summer and had the most incredible vegan chocolate ice cream. It was so rich and delicious! Highly recommend. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-21
Overcharged us 1 ice cream. Long blond hair in one of the ice cream cups. Should have went to cold stone.

Best icecream I've ever had, and I love icecream. We had the eggnog, highly recommended. Almost like half whipped cream, half icecream, very light and fluffy. There waffle cones are by far the best I've ever had, almost like gingerbread. They give you massive scoops, definitely worth it!

Poor Service / Rude staff alert! - Please don’t visit this ice cream shop if you have any special request, no matter how small that request is. My son has pistachio and cashew allergy so I requested (after standing in queue for 47 mins ) to wash the scoop or open new ice cream pack and explained the reason too. Guess what, the staff said ‘No, we can’t do that’ . Upon request, he then went to check with his superior and said same thing again- ‘I can’t wash the scoop or open a new pack’. My 3 years old son had tears and we decided to never come back to this shop ever again.

I am writing this review only with regards to service and to bring out an important point for anyone with food allergy visiting here . My kid has a nut allergy and I make sure that I tell this to the staff whenever I buy icecream from any ice cream shop. But my experience here was disheartening. I have visited Leavenworth for so many times and always saw a queue in this shop. This time I took the chance and stood in queue for over 30 minutes to get in with my child. As others have said, there is always a queue here. Still I waited and when finally got my turn, told the staff that my kid had a nut allergy so if he can give a clean scoop of strawberry ( I confirmed it was nut free with him) . He mentioned that it’s the same facility and could be cross contaminated, whereby I confirmed him that I am aware and if he can open a clean box and share a clean scoop, that’s all I need. ( this is what all icecream shop staff does for anyone with any allergy). He mentioned he cannot open a clean box and he could give a scoop with what is already out on counter. I respectfully denied it as that is not how it is supposed to be. I went out with a crying kid, went across the road to another Icecream shop, next to a bakery and said the same thing. - that my kid has allergy and can you give a clean scoop. The lady got my ask and she went inside, without questions , opened a fresh box and gave one cone to me. Pretty straight forward. I did not have to explain anything and that is how it is supposed to be.
My point is, if you cannot serve to people with food allergy, just write that clearly so that nobody is disappointed after standing in queue for that long. I know all shops write a disclaimer that cross contamination is possible ( this one had too) and believe me every parent is aware of it. But they try !! They try to make customer satisfied and try their best to address the ask. I have had ice cream at so many shops , big and small across cities, but this was my first. !! Everyone else happily opens a clean box and gives a clean scoop! How to address special requests is something the staff here needs to learn!

Very cute place, great service. Ice cream selection was very small so we just got generic flavors. I got a chocolate ice cream and there were so many water crystals in it and it didn’t have much flavor. We actually both ended up tossing ours in the trash after a few bites

Plusses: homemade ice cream and homemade waffle cones
Minuses: only 2 samples per person, $1 for sprinkles?? Straight to jail in my book! Chocolate flavor had ice crystals. Coconut flavor had raw and clumped coconut.
Overall, it felt like the “spirit of ice cream” wasn’t there, and they are only popular as one of the only homemade ice cream places in town.
Sprinkles are wack and gross !!! And the Wooden spoon is disgusting ?
Only two samples per customer. Ran out of blackberry fool. Vanilla bean and Blackberry sorbet was not good. Tastes like its full of emulsifiers, which maybe its not but I make ice cream at home and its orders of magnitude creamier and delicious. Nothing special here sorry. Kuddos to everyone who likes it this is just for people who cared about high quality ice cream taste.

This little ice cream spot is my favorite in Leavenworth. They make their own waffle cones and they have amazing ice cream and great service.
