A nice spot with delicious food. I love that they take such care and intention to create their dishes - their soups are a great reprieve from german fair. I love that they don't use single use plastic and are very environmentally conscious.

A few years ago this was our favorite restaurant in the area and we made weekly, sometimes bi-weekly, stops. With prices steadily climbing and food quality declining (in our opinion) we stopped visiting as often. It's been a few months since my last visit but i was craving something warm and brothy after a chilly fall hike so i stopped by around 5pm on a weekday. I ordered the rooster comb, a dish i haven't tried before. The broth was very flavorful but ingredients were skimpy. For $18 the bowl was about half full and consisted of broth, a small portion of noodles, and a few slices of undercooked carrots. No protein- adding chicken would have been an additional ELEVEN DOLLARS. Thats crazy! Most restaurants charge $5-6 to add a protein like chicken. I would expect that cost for steak, salmon, or shrimp... but chicken? No way. Anyways, the service was slow despite a near empty dining room and i wasn't given a soup spoon so it was awkward to slurp the broth with the provided flat shallow spoon (she never checked back so i could ask for one). Of course the tip screen asked for a minimum of 25% too. I'm sure we'll be back at some point since we live locally but i'm just making this review in case they care about the opinions of their non-tourist clientele and their declining reputation.

The food in SO good! The PNW salmon rice bowl is my favorite. Their homemade ginger soda and lime aid are so flavorful and refreshing. Hannah was my server and she was so friendly and made sure the kitchen knew about my allergies. I always come here every time I come to Leavenworth.

This place was really great! Good music. Lots of beer options. Almost everything here is gluten free. The patio seating had an amazing view of the mountains. The Thai peanut rice bowl with added salmon was delicious.

My wife was excited about this place as she had previously seen a line out the door. I got the Rooster Comb bone broth soup and added chicken for $11. Unfortunately, it was incredibly underwhelming. I’ve had better tasting soup with more flavor from a can. A chicken breast was floating in my soup, and it was next to flavorless. Our waiter was less than enthused to be at work, it seemed. Bummed out!

Awesome place except the managers taste in Music. They refused to change it and said the manager decides the music. Oh my God! Atmosphere makes your restaurant folks.

It’s more than just a restaurant or bar, the homemade soup is good. Flavorful. Kids got chicken noodle soup for 11-year-old. She needed to order two. My son ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The tomato soup was obviously homemade because got a lot of sour after taste. My friend ordered the cheeseburger was not bad.
The young server for our table wasn’t very attentive. We have to call him for everything. Before we leave all our cups are empty with water and I have to even call him again for to go box. They decorated this place great with Peter James photography and lots of plants. However, all the seats in the middle are with those cheap IKEA irons chair, which I don’t like so we move it to the side with the wooden table and bench. The outdoor sitting will be the best during lunchtime with great views, but it could be cold at night.

Dietary restrictions: There is gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options

Kid-friendliness: Changing table in the restroom. There are some kids items.

Wow this place is incredible. Quiet patio that overlooks the water. The waitress gave us some great recommendations and we ordered the Yodelin Sippin Broth, the Fish On, the Clam Chowder and a couple of Gluhweins. Spectacular all around. The sandwich was the star of the show and the clam chowder was a close second. Everything tasted super fresh and light, and I appreciated the focus on sustainability. Will certainly be recommending this place to anyone traveling through Leavenworth. Might be back to pick up some merch tomorrow. Thank you!!

Very nice view when you sit outside, but food is passable at best (salmon miso sup was especially bad), and quite expensive.
